Miu will NOT go for this, sorry mam ma'am. Tried this with previous miu and both the vet tech and the vet herself came to report procedural failure, sigh mam ma'am. We think that we'll cover the table with tin foil, tentatively conclude we man. Or Saran Wrap, or something, si man.

And she's a rubia, whee man!

Tuna Glop, ingest at will man! Modified Tuna Glop, ingest at will man! Warsh down your Tuna Glop or Modified Tuna Glop with them and report back, si man.

VAWA, Part 27
TBoneTX replied to TBoneTX's topic in Effects of Major Family Changes on Immigration Benefits
It is Wednesday -- time for our hilarious, effective Semiofficial Semiweekly VAWA-Thread Joke: =========================================== TRULY INSPIRATIONAL QUOTES It's never too late to go back to bed. Don't talk to me until I've had my coffee, and then, after that, still please don't talk to me. Eat like no one is going to see you naked. When a dog lies on the floor all day, it's "adorable," but when I do it, I'm "depressed." If you can't handle me at my worst, unfortunately that's also my best. If you never believe in yourself, you'll never let yourself down! True love is when two people lower their standards just the right amount. Relationships are like fine wine: they're expensive and eventually you just end up with a headache. Monday hates you, too. Getting out of bed is almost always the wrong decision. Dogs have no idea what's going on, and I'm so jealous of them. Some of my best friends are carbs. Weekends are for sleeping until it's time to eat dinner. -
Scintillating Tuesday repartee, yawn man. (Bad absent silent Asia! Bad, BAD absent ABSENT silent SILENT Asia!) ----- Thrilling Tuesday report, see man: Took magnesium glycinate along with bedtime HSM and zzz'd almost until alarm, improvement man. Hip hurt less than usual, good man, but isolated muscle in upper back was on fire, ow man. It hurt to cough and even to breathe, do some of both activities we man. Demanding miu insisted on full a.m. brushing, demanding miu man. Erranded, including drop of last bag of hangers at dry-cleaners, pleased they man. Got to Mama T-B.'s old casa just after noon, arrive we man. Free lunch was roast beef stew, chicken dumpling soup, mashed taters, and cherry pie, ingest we man. Mama T-B. then called and wanted help refilling her pill caddies, leave and return we man. On way back, we went to UPS Store with last batch of shredding from Mama T-B.'s casa, shred we man. It was now about half-past 2 p.m., much to do man. Out-cleared laundry room completely, clear we man. Out-cleared #1 closet completely, clear we man. Out-cleared #1 bathroom completely, clear we man. Disposed of Many bags of trash and armfuls of recycling, dispose we man. Got several inquiries about stuff remaining for sale, answer we man. No actual sales today, no man. Free din-din was carved ham slices, mashed taters, & mac/cheese, ingest we man. Bistro dude was anguished to hear that he'd never see Mama T-B. again, crushed he man. Back-muscle improved during afternoon, bright spot man. Skies darkened at about half-past Many (2=2+2), imminent monsoon man. We up-wrapped duties and took 2 bags of usable household goodies for ex-Mrs.-T-B., take we man. Arrived at her casa just before monsoon, timely we man. Ex-Mrs.-T-B. said, "I just cleaned my garage and don't want any more junk, si and no man," si man. We pushed one bag on her and she refused the second, quite rude ex-she man man. This is why she isn't a re-prospect, see and si man. We don't know what we'll do with all the leftover, highly usable casa-hold stuff, no man. Arrived at casa hot & tired, exhausted we man. Demanding miu demanded full attention, compliantly attentive we man. We checked for NextDoor messages, check we man. The site censors had hidden two of our posts for "posted in error," what the dickens man. We presume that someone reported us for trying to sell Mama T-B.'s stuff, readers are that petty man. (We wonder if they also reported the chica just after us who advertised her stuff for sale, yeah right man.) We laboriously reposted the deleted material, just what we needed at this mental stage man. We added a note to NextDoor "reviewers" to re-examine their compassion, wonder if it'll work man. Maybe it'll take them longer than 2 Manyzen hours to take the new post down, hope we man. Why do people act like this, huh man? After the above and showering, we took a dead-to-world siesta, magnificent zzz man. No party with the rubias tonight, no cavort we man. Wednesday is the final day to get everything done, still much to do man. We'd forgotten our need to clean our casa, arrival of some furniture man: -- must vacuum or sweep den area, coffee table arriving man -- must clear space/vacuum part of our bedroom, office desk arriving man -- must clear space to bedroom entrance, too cluttered/narrow to bring desk in man This amidst the need to up-pack everything in Mama T-B.'s old casa, man. We are going to have to arise at "Bro G. Walmarting Time" to get all done, man. We must hope that our body permits this activity, all cards on table man. ==> We need advice on how to protect wooden coffee table from miu's claw-markings when she jumps up to inspect it, crucial man. <== And that was/is our thrilling Tuesday, report we man.

Yee-HAAAAA! Agreed! Really good discussion of all the phases and steps. Durn Yankee

Sorry to hear it, brother. If she can travel to a neighboring country for a day or two's stay and then return, it should score points when the interview actually occurs.

Thrilling Monday-on-Tuesday report, see man: Awoke hours before alarm despite HSM and dead-tiredness, and man. Hip not as bad as on Sunday, not saying much man. Miu insistent on miu-breakfast but mellowed thereafter, insistent mellow miu man. Before leaving casa, tried to reach one moving-outfit, recording and no response man. Called Salvation Army to schedule pickup of unsold stuff, actually a decent experience man. Earliest possibility was between Many a.m. & Many p.m. Friday, initially crestfallen we man. However, see below, see man. Had to wait out a ferocious monsoon, twigs/sprigs blown down man. Went to Mama T-B.'s old casa, finally go we man. Resident who had seen us asked if we were new there, ask he man of we man man. We explained that we were out-cleaning and had items to sell, explain we man. Guy asked if he could come to look, ask he and agree we man man. Guy wanted a pocket calculator, a nondescript stool, and the primary wall clock, want he man. We thus made $Many ($2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2 +2+1) on stuff we hadn't planned to sell, $erendipity man. Free lunch was chicken & dumplings, meatball soup, a sweet potato, and custard pie, ingest we man. Called a moving-co., call we man. Reasonable rate and available Thursday midday, hmm man. This enables us to decide what to leave for S.A. to up-pick on Friday, flexibility man. It also gave us Many (2+1) days to sell and box and up-clean, seemingly adequate and motivational man. Lady texted consequent to our latest NextDoor update, text she man we man man. She was interested in 2 items, forthright she man man. She could come after Many (2+2+2) p.m., OK with us because of up-cleaning man. Meanwhile, another lady agreed to buy another item after Many (2+2+2+1) p.m., perfect timing man. We busied ourself furiously up-cleaning, trash-bag items with abandon man. We finally got to all kitchen and bathroom #1 items, last strongholds of most of the junk man. We used clear plastic shoeboxes to put small items into, efficient in more than one way man. Ex-Mrs.-T-B. took Mini-B. to visit Mama T-B., requested and promised man. Both ex-Mrs.-T-B. and Mini-B. were in tears afterward, forlorn sight man. Free din-din was roasted chicken (dark meat) and double mac/cheese, ingest we man. CBJC was there, Cute Bistro Junior Chica man. We told her that she'd probably see little or nothing of us after this week, si man. She expressed sympathy about Mama T-B., sympathetic CBJC man. We invited her to contact us via our card, which we'd given her last week, si man. She smiled noncommittedly, might have a boyfriend or other conflict oh well man. Lady #1 showed up, Chinese with cute Many-year-old ([2+1]-year-old) little boy man. She took one of her expressed items, express she man. She passed on the other but loved our second-hardest-to-sell item, heavy marble table man. She paid for the expressed item and put deposit down on table, husband to help later man. Lady #2 reneged on purchase (by text) after having led us on for nearly 2 Manyzen hours and then getting us to agree to lower prices twice, man. This should warrant a State Jail felony, man. Lady #1's husband finally came, close to sunset man. He was also Chinese and just as nice as his wife, nice couple man. He managed to lift heavy table onto flatbed dolly, strong dude man. We chatted briefly about rear-childing, attentive he man. We man and he man left happy, good experience man. Sent follow-up texts to previous customers, want anything else huh man man. Only one responded, the one we guessed man. We still have his 2 desired items, si man. He cannot come before Thursday but promised to beat the movers, we'll see man. We view this as a Many%/Many% prospect, we'll see man. We used final daylight hours to pack plastic shoeboxes, bag hangers, and up-clean small stuff, si man. We compiled 2 small bags of much bathroom stuff for ex-Mrs.-T-B., chiefly hair products man. These actions went a long way toward reducing floor-clutter, lower blood pressure we man. On way back to casa, we dropped the 2 bags at ex-Mrs.-T-B.'s front door, drop we man. We made it to our casa just as night fell, fortunately left lights on inside prescient we man. Indignant miu demanded din-din, comply with indignant miu we man. Finally showered, great relief man. However, our hip was/is on fire, HSM at bedtime again man. This was a nicely productive day, conclude we man. We project that we can probably get the job did before movers show up, project we man. However, we must also arrange transfer of Mama T-B.'s phone service, egad man. On Tuesday, we have relevant errands to run, then back to the wars, si man. And that was/is our thrilling Monday, report we man.

Thrilling Sunday-on-Monday report, see man: Despite bedtime HSM, we awoke long, long, long before the alarm, and we man. We got going late nevertheless, drag corpus we man. Bad hip was worse than Saturday but better than Friday, ow vs. OW man. A supermarket some drive away is closing in 2 weeks, sad but good sales for financially savvy we man man. We went and got a goodly amount of stuff for a net of Many% ([2x2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2 + 2+2+2]%) off, financially savvy we man. One item was a packaged sandwich for lunch, ingest at discount financially savvy we man. Dropped stuff at the casa, drop we man. Excited, interactive miu was excited and interactive, excited interactive miu man. Popped by second supermarket, pop we man. Somewhat replenished our supply of Powerade Zero grape flavor, replenish we man. Got Many (2+1) items for Uncle T-B., get we for senior he man man. Dropped Powerade at the casa, drop we man. Excited, interactive miu remained excited and interactive, excited interactive miu man. Went to Mama T-B.'s old casa, already 2 p.m. man. Recovered in full-blast air conditioning for a bit, cool we man. Took Uncle T-B.'s GS shirts from Saturday plus new purchases to Uncle T-B., thrilled senior he man man. He didn't ramble quite as much as usual, nonrambling senior he man man. And thank the Great Sky-Chimp that he had his hearing aids in, no shout we man. Finally began our real business, already half-past 2 p.m. man. We decided to load the stuff going back to our casa, quite a bit man: -- 2 separate trips of Mama T-B.'s selected clothing, holy mackerel man -- a flatbed full of blankets, bedspreads, pillows, and memorabilia, ordered not to out-throw any man The T-B.-mobile was quite full, si man. We were sweating like an illegitimate male child, hot day man. Went back upstairs, altitudinous we man. Pretty much out-cleared closet #1, hard to believe it ourself man. Compiled small donation-bag, remaining Many blouses plus random stuff man. Debated taking it to #2 preferred donation site, possibly a rush and a long way man. Ended up taking it to Goodwill, closest but we hate their online-receipt process, man. After only Many (2+1) hours of out-cleaning activity, we were completely hosed, hosed we man. We were sweating like an illegitimate male child, perspirational we man. We were limping like an illegitimate male child, hip worse than completely hosed man. Returned to our casa and began unloading stuff, unload we man. Set it inside and carried it upstairs in stages, at least Many (2+2+2) up/down trips man. Amidst all this, excited, interactive miu remained excited and interactive, excited interactive miu man. By the Many'th trip, we could not take a separate step up with bad-hip leg, ow ow ow OW OW man. We think we were yelling in pain, only miu knew for sure man. We then fed/treated/kibbled/brushed/played with miu, ow ow ow OW OW man. Sat under ceiling fan and called Mama T-B., call we senior she man man. Mama T-B. was in inconsolable tears, praying to die she man man. No one had brought her din-din, severe oversight man. She described herself as a "useless bedridden lump," and why did she deserve this man. We were nearly in tears ourself and could only murmur sympathy, what the dickens can be said man. She apologized for putting us through all this and urged us to vacate so as to "get your life back," sigh man. We said that she went to every length for the infant T-B., so now it's our turn to pay it back, si man. She again burst into tears because she desperately wants to be independent again, sigh man. Otherwise at a loss, we told her that we can be her sounding-board anytime, si and sigh man. After up-hanging, we called the Resisted Living place to tell them to bring Mama T-B. some din-din, si man. We then immediately texted Mini-B. to take a fresh foto of himself to send to Grandma and then to call her, si man. We finally showered, Clean for Gene we man man. We began our sole and very large LL, record number of t-shirts & sweatbands man. During all this, miu remained excited and interactive, excited interactive miu man. Din-din (at half-past Many ([2x2x2] p.m.) was Modified Tuna Glop, ingest we man. After this, we plastered NextDoor with a "final markdown" post with fotos, sell the damned stuff man. Someone will come to see us Monday eve, promise she man. No party with the rubias tonight, no cavort we man. Major bedtime HSM tonight, desperate to ingest we man. On Monday, we must tackle bathroom #1, out-clean it man. We must without fail call movers, donation & personal man. We must organize further simply to see what we have and what's left over, needfully see we man. And that was/is our thrilling Sunday, report we man.

Gracias, Eh ma'am. It's more complex because Mama T-B. is still alive and has preferences in regard to her own stuff. See Thrilling Sunday-on-Monday report, see Eh ma'am.

VAWA, Part 27
TBoneTX replied to TBoneTX's topic in Effects of Major Family Changes on Immigration Benefits
It is Sunday, and time for our approval-evoking* Official Weekly VAWA-Thread Joke: *that is, if correlation = causation =========================================== EXCELLENT MEMORY Three old men were discussing their failing memories. The first old man said, "Today I was at the top of the stairs, and I couldn't remember if I had just gone up or was about to go down." The second old man said, "I was sitting at the edge of my bed, and I couldn't remember if I was about to sleep or just woke up." The third old man scoffed and said, "My memory is as good as ever, knock on wood." He hit the table twice with his knuckle, looked up in surprise, and yelled, "Who's there?" -
Well, you just got your first upvote for being an alert member who has asked a thoughtful question. Thanks for your endorsement. Others are more tuned in and can comment authoritatively. We'll move posts if they're not in an optimal forum. You guessed pretty much the right place to post, initially. USCIS, and the consulates, and CBP all thrive on the truth. A 4-month front-of-store job certainly isn't your fiancee's life's work, and sensible authorities will realize that. As the incomparable pushbrk says, "Reading carefully, interpreting literally, and answering completely & honestly is the key to your success during this entire process." Edited to add: Sincere thanks from ALL of us for your clear identification of who is who and giving your ages right up front. Everyone should emulate you in doing that.

Indeed a lovely and happy couple.

Henry, welcome to the forum! By the way, your unanswered duplicate thread from hours ago has been removed; it's disappointing not to receive replies, but weekends here are slower. Folks will undoubtedly chime in. You ask a good question. "A job is a job," it seems, or should seem, if it was legal; others here will comment on the potential USCIS reaction at the petition phase. I'm purely guessing that if USCIS has an issue with her job, an RFE (request for evidence) will be sent to you, at which point you could respond by explaining the employment circumstances in detail. The big matter would be whether she ever used cannabis. If she has used it, she must be truthful and admit to this during the medical examination before her visa interview, and bear the rightful consequences. Again, others here will be along with input, so stay tuned.

Thrilling (?) non-GS/ES Saturday report, see man: Awoke with hip feeling not as hosed as on Friday, limp less we man. Breakfast was 2 slices of last night's 'roni 'za, ingest we man. Made donation-drop #1 while GS-ing/ES-ing, efficient we man. This included Many (2+2+2) Manyzens of Mama T-B.'s blouses, lots man. It included the same number of coated wire hangers, we're sick of those man. Had to go inside store to get them to roust a donation dude, inefficient man. Donation dude then had to get a new donation book, man. We were quite sweaty already by this time, perspirational we man. We didn't drink anything, no man. Made it to Mama T-B.'s old casa still with time for lunch, free man. Lunch was S+Ms, garlic bread, green-pea salad, and the driest sugar-free chocolate muffin ever, ingest we man. We didn't drink anything, no man. Continued out-clearing closet #1, si man. Lady texted to buy furniture for daughter's new condo, hopeful we man. Lady, husband, daughter, & son all showed up within minutes, glee we man. Daughter didn't give a poop about the whole process, no man. Everyone admired the furniture but she muttered, "I can't take it with me, no man," man. They ended up buying just $Many's worth of small decorations that we hadn't considered selling, man. We did overcharge them a little, didn't complain they man. We've rarely been so disappointed over probably our last chance to sell furniture, sigh man. We busied ourself in out-clearing closet #1, Mama T-B.'s blouses man. We just made donation-drop #2 before closing, speed we man. This included Many (2+2+2) more Manyzens of Mama T-B.'s blouses, lots man. It included the same number of coated wire hangers, we're sick of those man. We then returned to her old casa, punishment-glutton we man. We didn't drink anything, no man. We continued to busy ourself in out-clearing closet #1, Mama T-B.'s blouses man. We got Many (2+2+2) more Manyzens of her blouses bagged, couldn't do one more man. We also got off-urinated and threw all cookware/bakeware into a box, fit perfectly man. We just made donation-drop #Many (2+1) before closing, speed we man. This drop too included the same number of coated wire hangers, we're sick of those man. We hurt ourself hoisting the box & bags into the donation bins, what else could we suffer man. Of course, this is the place of the "scan the image & get your e-mailed receipt," yeah right man. We couldn't do it because sun was reflecting off window, hose the scan-imaging man. An employee finally helped us, tear sign off window and put it in normal light man. We were completely drenched in sweat and a rather unhappy camper, man. From there, we went to our casa, finally man. Miu accosted us for food/treats/food/attention, accostive miu man. We finally chugged a large bottle of Powerade Zero grape flavor, not nearly enough man. We sat at computer under ceiling fan to check why a buyer stood us up, check we man. Just then, Mama T-B. called and asked for a progress report, awful timing man. We were in foul humor and unfortunately let it out when she lectured us about the obvious, sigh man. We need to apologize later, si man. Finally got a shower, blessed destinking for we man man. Din-din was the last Many (2+2) slices of 'roni 'za, ingest we man. A siesta was taken and actually overslept afterward, zzz we man. We again failed to contact movers, we man. We haven't tallied the number of blouses donated, no man. It is at least in the mid-to-high Many00s, guesstimate we man. Several Many00 had shoulder pads sewn in, observe we man. Brands ranged from KMart's house brand to Liz Claiborne and even a Gloria Vanderbilt, observe we man. Given more time, we could've taken these to a women's resale place & earned $, water under bridge man. No party with the rubias tonight, no man. Even with the 'za, we wonder how much more weight we've lost, losing battle (pun intended) man. We should spend Sunday taking small stuff to our casa, clothing bedclothes decorations man. There goes our formerly decluttered casa, sigh man. And that was/is our thrilling Saturday, report we man.

You needed to start a new "so much winning" thread, si man. There's a paucity of upvotes toward Rhododendron status, too...
