  1. I was thinking this, too, but (perhaps erroneously) concluded that a B2 from Morocco was unlikely.
  2. Damn Wesley Hunt. Paxton, flawed as he is, needed to win outright. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Texas GOP Senate primary heads to runoff, with Cornyn, Paxton on ballot The competitive Republican primary for Senate in Texas is headed to a runoff, according to a Decision Desk HQ projection. The race will head to a May 26 showdown between incumbent Sen. John Cornyn and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton as Republicans scramble to keep the seat in GOP hands. Neither Cornyn nor Paxton won the 50 percent-plus-one support they needed to avoid a runoff against a third competitor, Rep. Wesley Hunt, who was pulling in double-digit support in polls ahead of the race. Polls had also shown Paxton with a slight lead. The upcoming runoff will pit the four-term incumbent senator against the controversial attorney general as national Republicans warn against a possible Paxton win and Democrats gain steam across the aisle. https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/5757469-cornyn-paxton-gop-runoff-texas-senate/
  3. Well, 77% in, and... not called yet... Talarico 972,543 53.1 Crockett 835,727 45.6 Hassan 23,63 11.3 And Crenshaw is toast, 78% in: Toth 29,325 57.7 Crenshaw 19,759 38.9 Etwop 939 1.8
  4. Well, the opening article at least seems pretty good to me.
  5. VDH -- a military historian -- is very perceptive in this piece. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Trump's Way of War War is the use of arms to settle differences—tribal, political, religious, cultural, and material—between organized groups. It is unchanging. The general laws of armed conflict stays immutable, given the constancy of human nature. However, the manner in which war is conducted remains fluid. New weapons, tactics, and strategies elicit counterresponses in an endless cycle of tensions between defensive and offensive superiority. That said, has President Trump introduced a novel way of waging Western war against America's foreign enemies? We saw glimpses of it [...] https://amgreatness.com/2026/03/03/trumps-way-of-war/
  6. It actually looks like a runoff (still 95% tallied): Menefee 29,414 48.6 Green 26,162 43.3 Edwards 3,925 6.5
  7. Crenshaw's going down, with 63% in: Toth 23,674 57.6 Crenshaw 16,117 39.2
  8. Talarico (D-Buttegieg) leads Jazzie Crockett (D-Psycho), 40% in: Talarico 506,862 53.6 Crockett 427,733 45.2
  9. With 95% of votes in according to RealClearPolitics, it looks like the oh-so genteel Congressman Al Green (D-Disruption) of Texas is going down to defeat. With about a third of votes counted, Dan Crenshaw (R-RINO) is behind. Really surprising that John Cornyn leads Ken Paxton for the Senate position; everyone I've talked to or overheard was for Paxton, without exception.
  10. Keep us informed, including how long it takes you to accomplish what you've resolved to do. Others here will benefit.
  11. "Canceled without prejudice" means that the visa was voided, but probably not for fraud. It could be because of administrative, clerical, or technical issues (such as duplicate issuance), an updated or changed case, some other reason that reissuance is necessary, or something that I'm not thinking of. Others' opinions may differ, but my guess is that it's correctable. She did get the sealed packet, which is seemingly a good sign. Contact the Casablanca consulate in a hurry to find out what's going on. Whatever you do, she should NOT try to enter the U.S. with a canceled visa -- get it straightened out first.

  13. File the N-400 when you're eligible to file. Waiting gives no advantage and only delays your naturalization You did what was necessary when you sent the divorce decree with your request to convert to a divorce waiver, and USCIS confirmed receipt. That's great! USCIS will adjudicate the I-751 (under the divorce waiver) before or in combination with your N-400 interview. For your interview, bring your divorce decree (the original & a copy) and evidence that your marriage was bona fide through the time when you separated from your husband.
  14. This doesn't make the cut, yawn man. This one does, see man: -- What do you call a retreating front of attack-rabbits, huh man? -- A receding hareline, si and ha ha man.
  15. Superb -- you'll be in great shape after everything pops. Keep it up.
  16. More seriously: Become an "A" student of the entire legal-immigration process. Make plans (in accordance with various approval-timing factors) for your beneficiary to hit the ground running upon arrival. For perspective, see this thread about my own K-1 process: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/410945-k-1-journey-completed/
  17. Watch Mixed Martial Arts and (1) live vicariously and (2) pretend that the losers are cavalier USCIS employees.
  18. He's bald, see man, and we're not, see and no man.
  19. I especially like the Cyber one. True. In medicine, ever hear of "repeat surgery"?
  20. That's great! Gracias for the update. If so, good. I remember when Mrs. T-B. was quite pregnant with the future Mini-Bone, and we'd had a traumatic trip back with hosed flight arrangements, and the female CBP agent (in a foul mood) gave us lip. I was one step away from telling her that Mrs. T-B. held a future U.S. citizen who would be more American than was she, the CBP agent requesting that the shift supervisor join us. Regarding stress, avoid going aysheep beforehand without reason, but be prepared to use the magic words that resolve many situations everywhere: "May we speak with your supervisor now, please?"
