  1. I think so. Others can confirm and elaborate. Mrs.-T-B.-to-be needed 2 shots here -- tetanus and something else. We went to our County Health Clinic and paid something like $20 total. She had her list of vaccinations from her clinic in Ecu, and the County lady (who was familiar with immigration requirements) added the new ones to the bottom of it and applied the clinic's stamp, resulting in a neat one-page vaccination record.

  6. Consulates accepting cases from elsewhere need to have personnel (consuls and locally engaged staff) familiar with the spoken & written language of the originating country, and with the content, format, and officially valid nature of documents submitted.
  7. You're welcome. Yes -- as much as will prove her status. If it's the whole certificate, so be it.
  8. Didn't know this -- great information. Testman, it sounds as though returning to India is in your future, and very soon.
  9. Eight impeachments or recalls need to be implemented immediately against these fine stewards of the public's funds.

  14. Wednesday already? Time for our Semiofficial Semiweekly VAWA-Thread Joke: =========================================== GRANDDAD AND GRANDSON A granddad and his grandson were talking on the phone. Granddad said, "Hey, Grandson -- your grandmother and I ate at a nice restaurant last night. Thought you might want to take your girlfriend there." Grandson said, "Sure, Granddad. What's the name of it?" Granddad paused, struggling with the name. Grandson said, "Take your time, Granddad; it will come." Granddad said, "Help me out here. What's the name of that flower with the thorns on the stem... usually it's red?" Grandson said, "A rose, Granddad -- it's a rose." Granddad said thanks and turned his head around to the side. "Hey, Rose! What's the name of that restaurant where we ate last night?"
  15. Europe Promises To Get The Electricity Back Up ASAP So Everyone Can Hear The Muslim Calls To Prayer LISBON — Following massive power grid failures that plunged multiple countries into blackouts, Europe promised its citizens it would get electricity back up as soon as possible so everyone would be able to hear the Muslim call to prayer over the loudspeakers. Officials said they were aware that essential staples of European life, like pausing to pray in the direction of Mecca and asking Allah to grant them bloody victories against the infidels, had been disrupted by the blackouts, but assured everyone the normalcy of assaults and stabbings could resume very soon. "Our way of fundamental Islamic life will continue without issue," said Portugal President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa. 16. Democrats Hold Candlelight Vigil In Front Of Illegal Immigrant Mugshots WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressional leaders held a solemn ceremony in the nation's capital today, as Democratic senators arrived at the White House to hold a candlelight vigil in front of migrant gang mug shots. Legislators gathered on the White House lawn to memorialize apprehended and deported criminals in a touching display of love and admiration for the achievements and cultural enrichment they brought to the crimes they perpetrated in the U.S. "The country simply won't be the same without them," said Senator Elizabeth Warren while holding a candle next to an MS-13 gang member's mugshot. 17. Welcome to the forum! Your duplicate thread in General Immigration Discussion has been removed -- we post only one time on a topic. Therefore, this will be your thread on this topic. Admission to the U.S. is for as long as Customs & Border Protection says you can stay, or not at all. Everyone is a "presumed immigrant." It helps to have papers that show firm ties to your home country. Your returning to Canada depends on the validity of your Indian tourist visa for Canada (longer than 6 months?). If you're refused entry to the U.S. and refused reentry to Canada, you can go to any country that will admit you. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, so try entry to the U.S. Let us know what happens.
