I did talk to an agent about it, on the phone, not the machine. That's why I'm confused why I'm getting this automated message, especially so much later.
And yeah, I live in Kentucky and both my representatives are pretty staunchly anti-immigration, so I doubt they would help much. I am currently working for a rep from another state though who is trying to help.
I'm in a same-sex relationship with very conservative Senators and Representatives, and they helped our case (NOA1 in June 2020 and NOA2 in April 2021). It may be worth giving it a try, honestly. Their offices were very kind throughout the process.

I’m very thankful to finally be here.

Finally got our NOA2 today

Some Polish Plaintiffs in the Milligan v Pompeo lawsuit received interview dates at the Warsaw Embassy last week.
Good for them.

Has anyone made any progress? I saw where the Polish embassy is now specifically stating on their website that they're not currently processing K1 (or diversity) visas. I'm just having another of those moments where I feel like this will never be resolved...

They've just updated; the added an F to I-129f - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/News/visas-news/important-notice-for-k-visa-applicants-affected-by-covid-19.html
That's not all they did. They also added an "posts are authorized to give K visa cases high priority" statement.

Hey, just created this account, this website seems pretty useful regarding updates on visas and all of this stuff.
Are there any other countries that have reopened the interviews for k-1 visas? I've heard about Poland and that's it for now.
We are currently waiting for Moscow embassy to reopen, they are not providing any info at all. Have you guys heard any rumors about the reopening date?
Also, does anybody know if the NVC expedite for k-1 visa will work, especially now? We've listed financial hardship as the reason for request.
This whole virus thing sucks so much, i can't wait for it to be over ;(Where have you heard about Poland?

Simply not signing "your" form is not a denial reason. But if your application is returned for the signature and you fail to resubmit then you have denied yourself. Before opining, it's advisable that you are knowledgeable about what USCIS can and can't do. It's spelled out in the policy manual. I'll share the link.
https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual
The destruction of reason has seen the triumph of ignorance.
You're right. I was thinking of the USCIS status that I have seen that say "Case was rejected because I did not sign my form," which is different than a denial. Thanks for clearing this up. I'll withhold my comments on posts from now on.
-
They can deny for something as simple as not signing your form. There isn't much you can do until you find out why.

Thank you, I'll check that out. Just to be clear, she shouldn't have anything on her record, I'm trying to also figure out if it's even required.
She will need one from each country she lived in for more than 6 months.

You can follow this link and click under Police, Court, Prison Records to find country-specific ways of getting what she'll need: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country/SouthKorea.html

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services today announced that the agency will avert an administrative furlough of more than 13,000 employees, scheduled to begin Aug. 30 as a result of unprecedented spending cuts and a steady increase in daily incoming revenue and receipts.

I can't see why it would slow down the process. Make sure you change your address online as soon as you can. According to your timeline, you're still months out from your NOA2, so you should be fine.

putting just a reaction isn't gonna help. If you're just here to judge someone who's having a hard time figuring things out. Then you aren't helping anyone here.
Multiple people have already given you clear answers to your question, yet you're still asking it. Hence my reaction to your post.

Yes and since the Senate is on “vacation” until September it just looks like an empty gesture.
It's very frustrating, but it's not really an "empty gesture" any more than the bill that they passed just before this one to prevent cutbacks at USPS. It's just the very first step in getting the bill passed. The Senate will be back in two weeks, and it's likely that the bill will be passed then. Having the House finally pass this bill should encourage USCIS leaders to stop the furloughs, but we'll see...

Hello. I'm new here.
I have questions about Item Numbers 38.a. to 38.h. that are about my travel history.
I once ever been in the States, but that was only layover from Japan to Toronto, Canada.
But I have stamps on my passport but the I-94 record in U.S. Customs and Border Protection registered my travel history so weirdly as follow.
* I deleted the year on my own.
Date Type Location 1 -10-14 Departure Unavailable 2 -10-14 Arrival TOR 3 -09-30 Departure Unavailable 4 -09-30 Arrival CHI as you see, there is "Unavailable" and I don't know what "CHI" is about.
I just had the round trip from TOKYO to TRONRO via ORD and IAD.
Do you think if I submit I-29F documents with this situation, it's going not to be accepted???
I already requested to correct this via request form.
Should I wait until this situation will be changed?
Does anybody have experience as me?
If so, how long did it take to be corrected properly?
Thank you.
Stay safe!
Pichan from Tokyo.
If it helps at all, if you traveled through ORD (Chicago International Airport), "CHI" probably refers to Chicago.

They introduced a bill yesterday to try and stop the furloughs. I'm not sure how likely it is that this one will be passed or how long that would take.

I am terribly confused. Like, what am I really waiting for here? is it an email? a package? a call? can someone please enlighten me.
They just gave a receipt number. So this is not NOA1???????????????????
Yes, that is your NOA1. The receipt number is all you need for now. It will be a letter. If you completed the G-1145 (E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance), then you will probably (though not always) get a text message as well.

So where are we in relation to phase 3 (in terms of how many months until we hit phase 3/what phase we're in)?
The phases are supposedly determined by each embassy's local conditions (of the virus) at the time.

Wow!
do you mnie the person and circumstances?
thats amazing 👏👏👏👏
I don't, so I'm not sure if they had an emergency appointment or not, but still, they issued one after not issuing any for months in a row, so I got a little excited.
You can find the info on July's monthly nonimmigrant visa issuance statistics listed here by country: https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Statistics/Non-Immigrant-Statistics/MonthlyNIVIssuances/JULY 2020 - NIV Issuances by Nationality and Visa Class.pdf

Poland issued ONE K-1 visa in July (after none since April). I have to celebrate the small things

This is wonderful news for those waiting on Algiers!! Where are you finding such disclosures?
I keep looking and watching for Jamaica to resume K1 processing, but they keep blaming the Proclamation, which doesn't even talk about K1s.

Check to see if your embassy is processing visas and which ones. If your results return 999 that indicates that they are still not processing that visa type. Your mileage may vary.
https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas.htmlIs there a way to specifically look at K visa processing times? I didn't realize until I used this tool on my mobile browser that there is a notation stating that "The All Other Nonimmigrant Visa wait time DOES NOT include K or V visa applications."

Mostly unrelated to this post, I am so glad to see that you're at the interview scheduling stage! We're at the same embassy and also with a June 2020 NOA1, but we're a couple months behind you on the NOA2/NVC received stage.
