Anastasia had her interview yesterday, passed, and had her oath ceremony at the San Diego office.
She said it was by far the easiest immigration-related interview she's had.

Had my Oath today!! I am so happy and thankful for all the help this forum has provided during these years.
On the day of my interview 11/3/2022 I was offered a same day Oath but I was traveling abroad on 11/19 so the recommendation was to travel first. A few days later I received my oath letter for… 11/19…. Yes, same day my trip was starting. So I wrote a letter excusing myself due to international travel. Finally my oath was rescheduled for today 2/11/2023.
ATL field office. Everything was very smooth!
I wish you all the best in this journey!!

Interview done! The oath ceremony is scheduled for January 25th!! Whew, one more week and my journey will be over!
My I-751 was approved as well, however, when i check my status, only N-400 shows updates (last one - Oath ceremony notice was mailed). Is that normal?
    Also, DaveandAnastasia, happy birthday!

Another data point regarding this subject:

"I am a dual citizen, and I regularly check in using the passport other than the one I provided at booking. This has never caused a problem; no check-in agent has ever even mentioned it. So just check in with the passport you plan to use on arrival. It doesn't matter whether you gave that passport information when you booked.
If the airline asks about your other passport, just explain why you changed passports. There is nothing wrong with changing your citizenship."

My 2 cents: don't provide passport info if you can at time of reservation. Or if you have to, you can usually change it later at the airport.

Checked Delta, Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines. They also don't require passport details when booking. Turkish has a check mark for Turkish citizen though.

@annab864 thank you for checking. It sucks Expedia asks for country of citizenship when booking flights. I moved away from third party websites for booking flights, after the pandemic, so obviously didn't know some require this info. While they allow saving a bit of $ it's real pain if flight is delayed, cancelled or you have to change it. Good to know!
Maybe community can create a list of websites asking or not asking for passport details.

Example of booking flight from NY to Paris on United:

I'm always curious when people say "I booked flights on US passport" or similar. I see no passport information on booking. Only when you check in online. Which doesn't work well when you're a dual citizen. You check in at the airport with the passport giving you access to destination and that's it. Maybe I'm missing something.

I typically fly with Scandinavian Airlines as I mainly travel to Sweden. I enter the info for my US passport when I buy a ticket, but when I get to the check-in desk the SAS employees always change my info to match my EU passport instead (I give them both passports, and they are always completely uninterested in the US one, this is at LAX). Apparently they prefer that I use the passport of the country I'm travelling to. Never had any issues either way, so I don't care.

Now we buy almost all tickets in the name on her US passport the exception being domestic flights inside of Russia.  The only concern comes when she is checking into a flight to Russia (last time was in Dubai), she has to show both passports so they know she has documentation to enter Russia, but no one has batted an eye so far about the name difference.

Mine has that "Certificate Of Naturalization Was Issued" case status but it also has a little notation at the top that says "Case Closed." Seeing that Case Closed is very rewarding lol. Congrats on naturalizing! It's the best! 😀

That’s the most terrifying one haha!
I think a status update is what calms my nerves down, knowing that they have updated everything on their end for sure. Logically it doesn’t make sense, but emotionally can’t help but always worry with USCIS! 😄

USCIS is behind, now you can shift your worry focus to IRS and unexpected audit 😃
Obviously do not wish anybody that.

Update us when you know what the last status is for a naturalized person.

Hi! I got an interview in the state I moved to. It took them several months or so. As it was discussed above, theoretically they have an authority to conduct your interview before certain time mark, but it is unlikely.  Before planning your trip double check that it is still there. I cancelled my flight in the last hour it was possible.
