@Ankissanot much we can do unfortunately other than hope it doesn’t pass 

I hope they make a deal before it happens and I hope yours comes through! 
a few days ago I checked the statistics on this site and they were working on cases with noa1 dates of January 31st and today it’s noa dates of February 3rd so I’m feeling hopeful. Even if there is a furlough our paperwork is pretty damn close to the front of the line with feb paperwork being filed and being sent to the NVC (out of Uscis’ care) anyway so don’t be too discouraged! 

Everything will work out. Destination will still be the same. Its more like boarding first class vs economy class. Both will get to the same destination but one boards faster than the other.

Hi everyone! I got approved today. Filed on Dec 6.

My NOA 2 is also 19 February

So exciting!!! Congrats!!!!!! My NOA1 was Feb 13. I have now seen multiple approvals for people who were on or around my NOA1 date and it is thrilling! I expect mine to take longer but it just make the whole thing that much more exciting when you know it could happen at any time now... So happy for you

So, your case is following the current protocol. USCIS is approving and processing cases. NVC is assigning case number BUT the hiccup is that the embassies are closed to interviews and NVC has ceased to send out cases to the embassies. This is happening to EVERYONE. We are in a pandemic, why should anything be different. 
 
Can I share somethings with you that I learned long ago about this process?

    • "the man with the gold makes the rules"
    • it will take as long as it will take 
    • no one with any certainty can tell you when some process will be completed
    • Your sense of urgency will never be equaled to what USCIS, NVC or your embassy demonstrates
    • Your journey is not going to mirror someone else's experience - yours and theirs are not the same
    • They only promised you a YES or NO answer. Never an exact time that their decision would be completed
    • Lowering your expectations will make you a much more relaxed individual

With what is going on now, am not sure if I should be happy or not. Our I-129f was approved today

Control what you can control and leave the rest alone. This is a long road, by the time you reach another plateau things will have changed.

Those that in the NOA2 thread for March 2020 are reporting that they are getting approved and a NOA2 is mailed and or texted to them. That's how we know.
