OMG! So happy for you! I've been following your moves here and cheering for you! You deserve it so much! I can't wait for you upcoming messages about approval! Congratulations! Very happy for you!
Mto Obrigado!
Thank you so much! Yes! Finally! We’ve been working in all that needs to be done prior the interview. We have to update some of the documents because it’s been more than a year.
The embassies are resuming visa scheduling little by little... is happening. You all should be getting your appointment letter soon! -

Today we received the email with the date for our interview. It was this morning. From the emotion I vomited, we cried, a lot of emotions.. the Appointment will be on April 30, 2021. I am already making all the preparations prior to the interview. Our DQ was on April 21, 2020. We are IR1 .. Our Priority Date is March 04 2019 .. 2 years waiting ..

This is the month of our priority date, this is the month of the approval for our I-130. Now that our visa class is IR1, maybe it will be the month for our interview appointment letter!!! 🙏

Thank you! We DQ’d January 15, 2021. So it we received the interview date rather quickly.
Yes! That’s amazing. Good for you!
This process normally lasted 11 to 17 months.. but due to the pandemic 1 year must be added. We hope to hear from the Embassy in Bogotá around April or May..

This is the second week of February and we got our interview email today!! It’s for mid-March 🙌🏻
Congratulations!🎊
Think you are the first south American from this forum that gets and interview latter!!!
May I ask since when are you DQ? Did you already had and interview but was canceled?

To my fellow South Americans: Rio de Janeiro seems to be restarting the interviews. They are scheduling DQs from March 2020.
That’s great!
I heard that Bogotá Embassy is assigning interviews to those that had already an interview scheduled for March and April 2020.
I’m DQ since April 2020 so I hope to receive my interview letter by April or May. 🤞🏻🙏🏻

Hey there! yes it changed automatically. Our 2 year anniversary was on a Monday and I saw the category changed later in the afternoon.
My husband had already heard from NVC representatives that these type of changes are applied on Monday afternoons.
I figured they have some kind of process or job that runs at that time that updates stuff (I'm in IT so that makes sense to me)
Thank you so much!!! Our 2 years anniversary is next month so I had doubts about that.

Hi Juliet, may I ask if your visa category changed automatically in CEAC?

Does anybody knows something about Bogotá Consulate? has someone got an interview letter? Knows of someone that received one?
Thank you...

No, I'm a gringo, but it's hard for me to understand natural speakers sometimes. Like when Quan was talking, I had no problem! He talks slow like me.
That's some real news, finally! Best of luck to us!
Yes, Finally they addressed a question about our visa category.
I even recorded it with my phone in case that they deleted that. I don't know, I thought that I was dreaming.

oh sorry I thought that you were latino.
the CO, Carolina said that actually they are working on IR1/CR1 visas, that they cannot call everyone at ones but those are the ones that they are having interviews right now.
About the NVC she said that the NVC will notify us when we have an interview appointment scheduled, and that the Embassy is letting applicants know the requirements in order that we have everything ready for the interview. And that they are aware that WE (ir1/cr1 applicants) have been waiting for so long for the interview.

I´ve been DQ´d since May. Just got word that someone with appointment for November rescheduled for February...
Hi! may I ask from where is this person that got the interview rescheduled. Thank you.

DQ Since April 21...
Still waiting for the U.S Embassy in Bogota, COL. Who is conducting students visas interviews and processing B1/B2 visas without interviews...
Apparently that is more important than IR/CR1 VISAS.. So all that circus about mission-critical was a completely malarkey....

@Juliet57 Yesterday I walked in from of the CAS here in Mexico City and it was opened. I came across two staffers and they said the embassy is conducting emergency and students interviews only.
🤷🏻♂️

Thank you so much @Louis61404, for what I saw they just were repeating what we know.. people asking for non-immigrants visas.. and so....more of the same.
I couldn’t see it all because I was starting to get angry.. 😂

So the Embassy in India decided to resume visa operations but only for Students as of now. Hopefully they consider Citizen spouse next🤞
Colombia did too. They announced yesterday. Hopefully this means one step closer for IR1/CR1 visas processing resumption.

Yeah! Hopefully it will move fast. I haven’t seen another applicant waiting for Colombia. Nor Venezuela neither Colombia.
