  1. thanks for your comment. It wouldnt be to adjust here. She’d go back for the interview but either way I understand
  2. I had a crba interview not too long ago for my daughter so I know they're operating and I"ve emailed so many times. They're just super vague and I was curious what others knew or if there's something I could do to speed up the process. Thanks for all your help!
  3. Thanks! Do you have any suggestion on how to get them here quicker than waiting on the embassy? What about a tourist visa (are they even giving these out right now)?
  4. Hello All, My wife's cr1 is at NVC and has been approved since December. I came back to the states for a job that I was offered recently and now I'm working. I'm wondering if applying for a k3 visa or a tourist visa for her would get her and my daughter here faster than waiting for the Colombian embassy to start doing interviews regularly. My daughter already has her CRBA and is an American citizen. Has anyone done a k3 recently during covid (or had any visa approved recently)? I heard that they are doing these K type interviews and they're somewhat a priority. Any advice would help! Thanks!!

  7. Yes I’ve moved back to the states now and she’s alone with our 9 month old daughter and doesn’t have any support.
  8. Hey Guys, How can my wife and I ask for an expedited interview (ir-1) at the embassy in bogota? Has anyone in the last few months or in general asked for an expedite (in any country) and gotten approved? If so, what did you do to make your case was considered legitimate? Any advice would be helpful!!
  9. Hello All, My wife and I have an interview soon for the CRBA in Bogota where we'll both be in attendance with our child. In the "Proof of Physical Presence in the US" section of the checklist it says: transcripts, w-2s, social security earnings report, complete migration report, etc. Does one have to have all of these things or can you pick which ones to have to complete the 5 year requirement? Thanks, Walt.

  11. Hello All, I'm in the same boat as everyone else. I'm waiting for my wife's cr1 interview. We are documentarily qualified since November. However, I have some other urgent questions. I am starting a job in the USA on January 11th. Currently, I’m in Colombia. I’d like to do my child's CRBA appointment and renew my expired passport before then (it expired because we weren’t able to travel and the embassy shut down because of COVID). Question 1: what are the steps for me to be the one present during the interview in lieu of my wife and child for the CRBA? (Paperwork, etc) We’re trying to avoid them traveling if possible because of the virus and I have to go to bogota for my passport anyways. Question 2: How long does it take to renew a passport completely? And is this possible for me considering I need to be in the states on the 11th of January 2021? Question 3: How long does it take to get an emergency passport from the Bogota embassy so that I can travel back to the states on time? I’m trying to choose the best option for me in order to make it to my job on time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Walt Thanks!
