Background: my daughter was born in Colombia but was given citizenship by me through a CRBA. My wife is traveling to the US for the first time as well on an IR1 visa. My wife is supposed to travel with my daughter to the states on Tuesday. Today we found out that supposedly for my daughter to leave Colombia with my wife she has to have a notarized and apostilled "permission slip" from me saying that it's ok. The only issue is that this permission slip is supposed to be apostilled and approved by the Colombian Consulate which for me is in Atlanta. My question is: Is there any way that I can get this done by Tuesday so that my wife can travel here without going to the consulate? If anyone has already gone through this process and could lend some advice that'd be great!!

Hello All, My wife's cr1 is at NVC and has been approved since December. I came back to the states for a job that I was offered recently and now I'm working. I'm wondering if applying for a k3 visa or a tourist visa for her would get her and my daughter here faster than waiting for the Colombian embassy to start doing interviews regularly. My daughter already has her CRBA and is an American citizen. Has anyone done a k3 recently during covid (or had any visa approved recently)? I heard that they are doing these K type interviews and they're somewhat a priority. Any advice would help! Thanks!!

Hey Guys, How can my wife and I ask for an expedited interview (ir-1) at the embassy in bogota? Has anyone in the last few months or in general asked for an expedite (in any country) and gotten approved? If so, what did you do to make your case was considered legitimate? Any advice would be helpful!!
