Finally! Congrats, so happy for you. Now time to relax for a bit until the IL is received.

I'm just surprised no DQs today.

I don't know.  It's probably a good idea to upload if you can, but not until closer to the interview.

Or, just take the new forms to the interview.

If your father makes enough income with your mother combined, then you should make your father a Joint Sponsor. He would fill out the I864 form and you would attach your mother's I864A to it. Your mother in this case will be a household member to your father. You will go ahead and fill out your own I864.

We just got our NVC welcome letter today! We are excited to get this process going!

Quick update-- I used my 1040 and W2 as well as 6 months of paystubs and wrote in the "additional information section" of the I-864EZ that the IRS were not processing my paper return due to COVID and we got DQ today! Only 24 hours after uploading documents- I honestly can't believe it because our petition at USCIS took 13 months, and it took another 3 to get the case sent to NVC! 
 
Now we just need the embassies to open!

By all means No need to apologize . Were all in this together. All waiting either for a DQ or IL.

That's what happened to us. In April we were at our 2nd year anniversary and my wife visa class changed from CR1 to IR1 in NVC. So at least now I know she will get her 10 year green card.

Correct , I know the only thing affecting my wife and I at this point is the limited services by the embassy at this point. However, I was demonstrating empathy for those affected by the EO.

Correct - I was replying to a fellow F2A case in this group. Spouses of USC are not affected and are currently receiving preference at NVC since there’s no point to process by submission date only if many are suspended.
It’s a pretty big punch in the gut for some of us. Imagine you’re in the US as LPR supporting the economy and growth due to a specific skill set, and then the government tells you “thank you for your service and your taxes, but you don’t matter so your spouse can’t move to you”.

macOS by default was using Preview app to open up pdf. Normally it works fine but for i-864 it was erratic and full of isues.
 
forcing it to use acrobat reader DC solved the problem. Thanks!

If you download acrobat reader you should be able to use it

As you said it states “first”, not “only” so they’re just giving preference but didn’t put a hold on the suspended categories. I saw I March 3rd F2A submission DQed this week (I believe in this group), and a March 4 submission DQ this morning in a FB group.
