Okay so for those who just want the quick details,
    The questions were:
    What is an Amendment?
Where is the Statue of Liberty?
When do we celebrate Independence Day?
Who was President during the Great Depression and World War II?
What did the Declaration of Independence do?
Who is in charge of the executive branch?

Reading Test – When is Columbus Day?
Writing Test – Columbus Day is in October.
    No Definition Questions.

The day started with a 5 hour drive that began in the early AM hours to arrive in plenty of time for a 1pm appointment.
About 30 minutes before the appointment people started to show up outside the entrance whom I assume had a 1pm
appointment also. The security guard came out and said form a line. You will begin to be let in at 12:45. There is an
advantage to being in the line early. I was second in line so I got in quickly. They only allow people with appointments
inside so anyone that comes with you has to wait outside. Only one person at a time is allowed at the desk for processing
so as they would finish the next person was waved in from the entry way. Phones have to be scanned separately. My
bag with all documents was placed in a bin and scanned. Was told to stand at a line on the floor and wait to be waved
through. After walking through the metal detector, they also used the wand as an additional step. Retrieved my belongings
and was told to go to the second floor where I presented my appointment letter and passport, ID card and Green card.
The interviewer was very professional and friendly. Remained standing and took the Oath before beginning.
The interview took about 15 mins. The feared definition questions from the N400 never materialized as
it was only the standard yes, no questions that were asked. I had all my original documents that I had submitted online
but none of them were requested. After the interview was complete the Officer asked if I would like to attend the "Oath
Ceremony" that would be held in a couple of hours and I happily said yes. I was allowed to bring one person with me
to the "Oath Ceremony". It was like a dream standing there at the end of my immigration journey with a room full of people
who had walked the same path. Afterwards we all turned in our Green Cards and received our "Certificate of Naturalization".
It felt like winning a Gold Medal at the Olympics. As I looked around the room it was full of joy with 1000 watt smiles as
it began to sink in that our visa journey had come to an end. I thank God for the grace I experienced every step of the
way. I had a sense during my journey that at many points seemed impossible that God was with me and had gone
before me and prepared the way. I would like to thank all of the Visa Journey friends I have met over the years who
took time to share their stories and update their timelines to leave breadcrumbs for others to follow.

Oath ceremony scheduled for early September and ROC now shows as approved. Pleasantly surprised how quick they moved things forward!

No, I didn't specifically ask for them to reuse my biometrics. That decision is totally up to them and seems to be unpredictable. No, the biometrics they reused wasn't from my pending I-751, it's from my approved AOS, as they also reused the same biometrics from that AOS for the I-751.

Whether they reuse or not isn't a big deal, not really one of things you should worrying about. I've seen many people do biometrics several times (with every new petition) and I've seen people get theirs reused. Anyway, by this time we all know that if USCIS tells you to jump, you ask how high. So just go to your appointment and you'll be another step closer to the end!

Thank you! That was my first thought also, but with the exception of the receipt notice which was generated almost immediately after I submitted the petition, I see no other documents. I'm just assuming it's a glitch or they did something on the back end that I can't see...

Received a 48-month extension letter in the mail a couple of weeks ago. I also happened to go abroad last week and the border patrol agent was very confused to see such a long extension. It would appear this is a new development and perhaps indicative of USCIS's success with clearing their backlog...

    Voilà ! Interview done! 🤩
Still have to receive the Passport but we are closer than ever to being fully together.

For your info, my husband was able to travel to France from California with : a proper Covid test certificate issued less than 72hours before his flight, copy of my passport, copy of our Livret de Famille.

Just want to give a shout out to you for your openness (to sometimes very personal questions) and kindness on this forum. I'm a firm believer in karma and the way you come across suggests there's a reason for your good fortune. Long may it continue

I would just bring a print out (orignal isn't necessary) of the i-864 and any supporting financial documentation you submitted at the NVC stage. In all likelihood you won't be asked for it because the immigration officer will have access to a soft copy but no danger in being ultra safe.

I would suggest you get a new lawyer because he's causing you undue stress with terrible advice. Do not reschedule your interview unless you literally can't make it. At the interview explain you got the interview at short notice so the results of your medical are pending. This assumes the embassy won't even have your medical by the time of your interview. Your situation is not unique and the embassy simply delays adjudicating your case until they receive the medical results.

As I've said before, you do not need the original i864. Take a copy of the signed form and supporting documentation to be cautious but the probability of being asked for them is negligible.

You would ordinarily chase this via USCIS but unless it's been more than 120 days since the later of I) payment of the card production fee or II) entry into the US, they won't even entertain your call.
