  1. I do not think you can track this anymore unless you have old USCIS account.
  2. it is not gonna hurt your case. However, this is most useless agency i have seen. I have reached out to them 3 times in the past but they could not help me. You might be lucky so go ahead and reach out to them.
  3. I would say wait for your denial notice then take it from there. You do not want to make a same mistake on the new i-485. I would reach out to your congress person who can get you a copy of your denial letter.
  4. Usually USCIS process by itself. You do not need to do anything. However each case is different. I had similar situation. I made the info pass appointment to get the status of my i-485. You can do that as well.
  5. One you have receipt notices. You will get automatic extension up to 180 days. https://www.uscis.gov/eadautoextend
  6. Yes it is normal. I would say give it 1 more month if you don't get it then involve your congressperson. Lately for some uscis is taking 2 to 3 months for receipts.
  7. You are sending to Vermont. It is safe to travel. I traveled almost 7 times on AP there was no issue whatsoever.
  8. I think this is doable. I would say hire a good attorney. Also write a new personal statement with everything with more detailed information. Best of luck!
  9. no tier 2 will not have much access either. Just him/her for the appointment.
  10. that is so messed up. try to chat with them through emma. second if you make a phone call again tell them you want to speak to tier 2 officer then explain your situation.
  11. Then i would say return that to USCIS that has your i-360 receipt number. It must be a mistake from their end.
  12. That is strange. What is status of your i-360 right now?
  13. Hi Verrou, Does it necessary to change the SS from restricted to unrestricted? I never changed after getting my green card. Is that gonna impact either say in the future? What do you recommend?
  14. What is your field office? I would say do the info pass. That really helped me.
  15. That is the main reason for the info pass since they do not have access to our files. I went there twice. When i called them they told me same thing then i said sir that is the reason i want to visit to see the status since you do not have access to my file. try again time you will get it and take the backgorund copy with you.
  16. you should make an info pass appointment to find out status of your case.
  17. it is not gonna hurt by get the opinion form other attorneys. Consult at least one or two just to make sure everything is fine what your attorney is doing.
  18. Have you made the info pass? The other thing you can do is to do your own background check and submit that result to USCIS. It is not gonna cost you much. I know personally someone did that and got approved within a month.
  19. basically that's what i meant to get out of court by terminating removal. Just consult with another attorney just to get an idea to see if your attorney is doing right thing. You do not want to get involved unnecessary wait time.
  20. You will be lucky if USCIS approves your form i-485. As olduser said, talk to an other attorney. USCIS will also admin close your i-485 if your asylum case not terminated.
  21. not denying that. but just interviewing people not making any decision? specially when someone already had an interview and sent the medical for 3 months now. lol
