  1. what i understood is visas related to outside of USA in those 75 countries. I think people from those countries inside USA are fine.
  2. good luck. What's your field office NYC or Queens/Brooklyn?
  3. Yes depends on where he/she lives. If it is for you and you reside in NY then that is the correct address. Follow this link based on your resident state. https://www.uscis.gov/Certain-VAWA-T-U-Filing-Locations
  4. I really hope you hear good news soon rather than later. Let's stay positive.
  5. Usually it takes 30 to 90 days. Like Rhema1 said it might has to do with your country of origin since it is one of the ban countries. How was your interview? How would you rate officer's behavior towards you? Did he say anything at the end of your interview?
  6. Typically, biometric appointments are scheduled two to three weeks after the physical receipt of the official notice. What's your field offcie?
  7. yes that is correct. Yes some forms do ask for both physical and mailing address for instance form i-131 and some others.
  8. in the mailing address you would put your home address and for the save address use this section.
  9. Yes USCIS accept the USPS mailbox however you still need to put your physical address where you reside. Answer to you third question is you can put YES so when your VAWA approves they will send you C31 EAD meantime you can send C09.
  10. Congratulations. It is too early to reach out to your congress person as per my experience. I would contact them after 6 months and that's what i did after my VAWA approval. Other than that you will be fine just enjoy the moment. It is a great feeling having VAWA approved after long wait.
  11. Sorry to hear about your friend. Hope everything goes well for him. Also try to contact Sandra as you know she is the best! I will DM you one of the attorney which i personally did not use however, i have heard good things/reviews about her.
  12. Congratulations! Wish you best of luck! Finally you are stress free! Enjoy your trip.
  13. wow. I am so sorry to hear that. Hopefully you will hear good news soon. Best of luck. congratulations! You deserve that! I am so happy for you!
  14. You should be fine without lawyer. They should only ask you yes/no questions. If they ask you anything related to VAWA and you are uncomfortable with it you can always ask for a supervisor.
  15. no that is not true. Just apply you will be fine.
  16. I know few people successfully applied and become citizenship recently. You should be fine.
  17. Yes it is indeed free now. That's something good for new fillers. And i think even I-485 is free for VAWA applicants.
  18. If i am not mistaken draft is saved for 30 days.
  19. I have not seen anyone on this forum. However, on the other forums i have seen few people using AP while VAWA pending recently. Their process was smooth.
  20. Reach out to your congress person.
  21. I have seen few approvals of 2022 in different forums. Once you move you have to notify USCIS. I would say if it is not urgent then delay until your immigration process is over.
  22. If it is over 90 days since your interview then i would say either make the appointment or reach out to your congress person.
  23. yes that is true. Your time will come. Patience is the key in the process.
  24. Thank you. What's your update?
  25. Congratulations. Finally your journey ended!
