    I would say tell your sister to leave USA, give birth in her home country. This way she can have a child with her. If she stays here her husband might make things difficult for her and as some one said she wouldn't be able to leave without father's permission. She can also file VAWA in her home country.

    She needs to call and find out what's her status of i-485? She might not get the information online because of VAWA. She can also reach out to her congress person to get her the receipts which something i did few years ago.

    What is status of her i-130? Is it approved or pending or denied? When she filled for EAD did she send receipt of i-485 with it?

    When did she apply for a green card? Did she attend any interview? When did she apply for VAWA? Did she request usics to hold her 1-485 since she is applying for VAWA?

    I doubt you can do it with. Usually you can do with approved I-130 or I-360.

    I just travelled back to USA. I was out for two weeks to south Asia. On my way back i was not asked any questions about my green card. I was asked only two questions where did i travel and how long i stayed.

    Same thing with me when i called they said there is no info in the system. However my congressperson as able to get me the receipts. Just don't refile yet wait for the outcome of your congressperson or senator.

    Then contact your congress person. I happened to me back in 2021 when i did not get mine receipts after over 60 days i contacted my congress person and i was able to get it.

    @Sandra G. @Demise and others. How safe is to travel internationally with the green card lately. I heard president has signed an executive order for certain countries to enter in the USA to make the process really hard.

    For your receipt i would say wait till end of this month. You should get it by the. I think you should make an appointment to your local field office to get the update. That something i did.
