Yay!!! That's really great news to finally hear about! Fingers crossed that everything continues to move forward!!!

Pandemic? Since February 2020, I’ve flown to and spent time in Egypt, Romania, LA, Philadelphia, New Hampshire, and Seattle. Not once have I seen any evidence of a true pandemic. Sure, I’ve seen lots of arguing scientists and dubious reporting and political fear-mongering and government decrees and obediently nodding citizens, and rights being yanked from all of us. I have not, however, seen any evidence of a true “pandemic”.

Considered a switch during the summer. We're going to be 1 year into the K1 in February. Reason we didn't switch is that the processing time of CR1 is like 2 years from submit to visa in hand. 
 

I wish I had $2000 to spare. If I had that kind of surplus cash around, I'd have gone to a 3rd party country to see my fiance. It'll be a year since we've been together this coming Christmas. I do hope that those who get on the case will make it easier for the rest of us.

The lawyers who represent the plaintiffs seem to be optimistic the ruling will trickle down to non-plaintiffs and resume visa processing. They did a Facebook live and answered some questions during. (https://www.facebook.com/105643946137854/videos/844179766403117 if anyone is interested) 
 
Kind of makes me regret not throwing a couple grand at a lawyer to get in on this case though, maybe I'd be seeing my fiance for Christmas.

We're K1. Helsinki Consulate got the visa packet this week. Our NOA2 was end of August.

Interested in any info for moving forward as well, least to plan at this point, or expect what can happen. My partner is from Turku, and we just got the NOA2 end of August. I'm not holding my breath for any progress on NVC or Embassy level until 2021, tho. ☹️

I think the post earlier indicates the processing of the K1 actually happening because someone may fall into one of the three categories. But I agree completely, it seems counter intuitive to do that.
