I had a very disappointing Pinot Noir at a picknik , turns out it was a fine bottle but it was an 80 degree day and the bottle was hotish. Plopped it in an ice bucket and it was awesome at 55 f. (Only a wine geek travels with a bottle thermometer. I like most of my reds  60-65 and my chards 55 or so.

Yes you can as long as it does not portray a stereotype against a group of people. You can call someone or a news site a wacko news site. I have called Infowars a wacko news site many times on this forum.

As a general rule, if it doesn't apply to a broad demographic, or if it is not already recognized or associated with a specific group.
 
    In this case, I am referring to the website as being wacko. It happens to be right wing. There are certainly wacko left wing websites, and even seen a few wacko bi partisan sites in the past. 
 
   The term you asked about ends up as a derogatory label attached to individuals of a specific demographic group. It was relatively benign to begin with (as an adjective), but I think it was one of several terms that just got overused on this forum to the point where mods just had to say cut it out.

A woman just out there doing her job in the world should not be subjected to this kind of garbage. This guy is thinking about running for governor of Michigan. We need fewer people in positions of who think it's just fine to make women feel less than.
 
 

Regardless of what Trump called her, what box she checked, what her Grandmother said about what tribes, what the Trumpanistas want to believe to make themselves feel better , she has genetic markers that can only come from the empirical fact that she has a Native American ancestors. 
 
If you have the ancestors and it doesn't appear, it does not disprove anything. If you have ancestry and the markers it is proof 99.99999% positive.

I am not saying she has the right to identify as a Tribal member, but it certainly should be the sign that folks calling her a list should just hush.

I haven't been in 15 years, looks like my trip is Savannah instead though.  Still good food in Savannah and you can walk around town with a drink in hand.

I honestly have no recollection of where I posted about my non-fiancé's back surgery, but popping in briefly for an update that it went very well. The only surprise was when the surgeon had him open, another bulging disc was found in addition to the herniated one that was expected. It added another hour to the procedure, but the outcome was successful. When I was allowed to see him, he was passed out but came around after a couple of minutes. The first thing he said after he told me "I love you" and "I'm high as f***" was "I thought when you said you'd get me anything I wanted to help me feel better in recovery, that meant you'd show up with my new 18-year-old Belorussian girlfriend who doesn't speak any English." That's when I knew everything was going to be just fine.
