Hello,
My husband just got done with interview this morning. He was there for about1.5 hour (8:45 to 10:30). He was given 221g as we didn't have most recent Police Report. He did asked about refusal and he was told to upload police certificate in Ceac. He will get visa after 4 week. He was told if he had police report, he would have been approved. We did both Medical and police report on Jan 21st. Medical report was sent yesterday and seems like they got. There were about 12 other people in the lobby. He was interviewed by guy and he said lady on other window was asking alot more questions. He was not asked many question and interview felt like conversation.
1. Where does she works?
2. When and where did you get married?
3. Who was at ceremony?
4. Since he is on work permit, he was asked what is he doing in Canada. He is in pharmacy profession. What is he planning on doing in US? He just said planning on continuing working in pharmacy. He was told he has good profile.
5. What was my income. He spent alot of time looking at W2 and tax return. Apparently, income on W2 was more something like that. Need to change my tax guy.
Hopefully we will get police report by this Friday. He also told my husband if he had police certificate, he would have been approved. But i also seen police from india being in some sort of administrative processing so we will see.
Thank everyone on vjourney for helping. Saved alot money because of you guys and you guys made process much easier.

"On January 26, 2021, we mailed your new card for your Form OS155A, Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration, Receipt Number IOEXXXXXXXXXX, to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your card by February 10, 2021..."
...apparently after sending the case inquiry message on the 23rd, the case was updated with "Your card is being produced..."

Hi VJ fam. SO happy to see the new interview letters come out!
Update on our case: It's now been 5 weeks post husband's interview and still no sign of any updates on his visa. I'm not really sure what's still causing the hold up. I've been emailing them, but continue receiving the same automated response of "case in admin process". The Consulate hasn't requested ANY documents from us since his interview (they only needed the medical). I'm now thinking this hold up is due to my husband being a Canadian PR and of Indian nationality as this might warrant further checks. I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience/delay being a Canadian PR? Any advice you may have would be greatly appreciated. We're still staying strong and hanging in there. Hoping things turn around for us soon! ❤️

I can't believe I'm saying this but I got my IL today! I am so happy, congrats to everyone that did.

Quick question for everyone:
"Only family members listed below in the "Additional Applicants" section who are intending to immigrate at this time must appear at the Embassy/Consulate General on the appointment date" My husband name is under this section, does he have to attend the interview with me? He lives in America, works there, I'm 90% sure he won't be able to come here in such a short time with the quarantine act as well. Is everyone attending the interview with their spouse?

Hello. I just received my IL. My interview date february 12th.
Has anyone tried to register their interview at https://ais.usvisa-info.com/? For me it is still saying my case is not ready for an appointment.

I received IL for February 17th. DQ was May 29th.
Unfortunately, it's sort of an anti-climax for me as I'm considering rescheduling due to planned medical treatment (not COVID related). 😟
Has anyone tried to reschedule recently? What was the wait time?

We also woke up to an IL this morning! DQ May 21, Interview Feb 8.
For those of you who recently had medical exams that did not arrive at the consulate on time, how has that affected your case? Did they simply give you and RFE, or was it more serious than that.

I'm admittedly freaking out at how little time I've got to get everything together, especially since I'm still recovering from Covid.
Any recommendations for how close to the appt I can push the medical?

Not sure if this has mentioned here but US will require proof of negative test to enter US by Air. Order goes in effect on Jan 26th
"If you plan to travel internationally, get tested before you travel by air into the United States (US), or be prepared to show proof of a recent positive viral test and a letter from your healthcare provider or a public health official stating that you were cleared to travel."

Our status just changed too!!!! No tracking number yet but just says final processing DO you know where we will get the tracking number? Will it come as an email or update on the AIS website?
