    Omg !!!! Congratulations!!!!!!

This is what i got today :(

Don’t loose hope. It’s all going to be ok in the end. I was in the situation that after the interview I was told I will get a RFE for a missing form and my status got updated to the similar message as yours. I submitted whatever they needed 5 days after and after another week my case was approved. So the downside is the unease of unknowing where you stand. It’s normal, but try to busy yourself and pray 🙏 God will take care of you 👍😇

Medicals are best done when you have an interview notice..to be on the safe side!😊👍 otherwise it just might expire..waste of funds!

How fast usually you can get your medicals? I just think if your interview notice comes by the end of this month, it only gives you about 2 weeks to prepare. Will it be enough? It’s coming darling, soon 🙏

Thanks alot dear, your post is so encouraging. I feel very depressed but your post gives me hope. Blessings your way. Am glad I read your post before I go to sleep. Glad it went well for you. Really happy for you.

You’re on the right path. My RFE was also about good moral character and good faith marriage. All I did, I resubmitted what I sent first time and all additional bills that I received, bank statement and 4 more affidavits from friends and employer. For GMC I submitted clearance from back home (even though I haven’t visited back for over 10 years) and clearance from the state I resided. I wrote another affidavit, way more detailed than the 1st one, and with God’s help, prayers and patience was all worth it after all, today I have my green card :) and thank God for all, couldn’t have done it without him. 🙏

    Hi, congrats for the notification!
how do you check? Is this an email address?

Thank you! You set up an account, apparently there are 2 websites where you can check the progress of your case. till now i've been using https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do but there is another one where you can sign up as well: https://myaccount.uscis.gov/ and how @Stillwinning!!!😊 and @FeDaniela said it has  more updates, and some of the dates are different too.

Wow! Definitely congratulations!!!💛💙💜💚😊😊 it's gotta be true! Let the celebrations begin my dear!🍁🌺🌹🌻

@Stillwinning!!!😊 have you used this website at all? I don’t know what to believe. I guess they might be working on the case, but it’s confusing, because now they show: Oct. 28: we ordered your new card; oct. 29: we ordered your new card; oct. 30: we completed your fingerprints review.

  6. I know it’s super late, but I can’t sleep right now. What website you’re using to check the status of your case? I just went back in Part 11 and someone mentioned the myaccount@USCIS.dhs.gov of which I never heard of. I signed up and it shows that as of yesterday “New Card is being produced”. I can’t let myself be happy yet as I am confused, I don’t know if this site is legit, as on my other USCIS account it doesn’t show any activity after the interview . Anyone who uses it, can you please put my doubts at rest? OMG! Please make it be true.

Hi Everyone,  I applied in Aug2018 , still waiting,  NO RFE , No Prima Facie , basically nothing,

My lawyer told me , that if I'm not approved by January,  we may go through litigation,

Does anyone know how that supposed to work  ?

    Thanks.

“Litigation” just big words used by your attorney to give you the impression he is doing something on your case. They are still working on early 2018 cases, wait a bit longer, and if you still don’t hear anything you’ll inquire with congressman or your attorney can submit a request about the status. In some cases you need to remind them that you exist. In regards to prima facie, maybe your attorney should send an inquiry now.

You're right..first thing I would have said is to wait some more..but since you already saw that coming...then secure the AP..chances are that before you finish the AP process, you would have gotten a decision on the i485! I'm aware there are other topics discussed on this site, only I don't have the information dear.👍

I have the AP expiring in March 2020 which I never used.

  9. Hi everyone! Need some guidance please. Is there any thread on this website or maybe someone had similar experience, I had my interview, but no decision was made as of yet. I am really thinking to travel with advance parole. What should I expect? I know a lot of people will say “if you waited that long, you should wait a little longer” but I am at that point where depression really takes over me and just the thought of my mom’s sad face and disappointment of not seeing me for holidays it kills me. Some of you are involved in more conversations on the visajourney site and I really hope for some positive input. Thanks in advance.

I'm celebrating, just doing what I have to do. It is finished:dancing: whatever the devil is playing hide and seek with my documents God is on top of it. I'm a winner because of my hero winner Father. I-360 is approved. I really don't have anything to worry about. God did it for us. We are on the waiting game now. Your GC will knock your door before you know it. And to all of you who are weary on this long and exhausting process God is with you. We were abused Mentally, physically, emotionally. . . but we are here now. Trying to continue living on our own, it is about time. Imagine yourself few years back crying for your life day and night, no where to go, couldn't see any hope to live. We should have got our GC by the person we loved and trust to live forever instead we crowned with curses, ignorance, beaten, demoralised. We survived by the help of Almighty God. Keep your hopes high and pray. It shall pass. Cheer up today let tomorrow worry for itself. We have a bright future on the hands of the creator. Love you all!

Omg! Can you be my friend? 😂 I love all these encouraging words you say. 🥰

How did you sent them you request ? Some of them after submitting your request will ask you to print the authorization and fill it up and fax it to them and then they contact you ..

and some of them require only the request ..

what state and city are you at ??

I emailed them. And only got a welcoming email that someone will be in contact with me shortly. But nothing.

In Miami, the congressman there only accepts requests through their website and after 1 month they still had no response they would say they really busy. She did not take walk-ins but I still went and they heard me out when I explained myself and my emergency. So I’d say it wouldn’t hurt to go to their office in person. They heard back from USCIS within 3 days.
    Good luck!

Yeah, i'll have to go in person. Thanks for your input.

when you contacted the congressman do they make you sign a privacy release form? I gave them my sister's address on that form. Do you think they will send this to USCIS? I don't want to mess it up because of the address on the form. my contact with the congressman is  via email only. from your experience how long do you think they will get response from USCIS?

I don’t know how everyone here is getting the help of the Congress person. I emailed them 3 weeks ago and no response till now. I am really thinking to go in person or something as I would like them to Inquire about my interview status:( i know they have up to 120 days to send a response but I really can’t wait that long, I’ll go crazy. I dropped off in person the response to RFE (the form 864w) and I am just afraid that the file will be put on a shelf and forgotten about.

I am grateful for your help and advice.
Yes, for the most part I write my messages through a translator
But this does not mean that I do not edit them, and that I do not know the meaning of what was written.
I have already explained that psychologists do not want to give such an assessment for USCIS.
What I tell them and what I ask them about, they understand.

By no means i was questioning your reply about the psychologist's feedback, what i was trying to see if you explain them correctly what you need, which i am sure you explain to them in Russian, in the case they are from your country. They probably get scarred/confused when hearing about immigration and stuff, but you basically you need to tell them:  "i need the help of therapy to help me overcome some stressful situation that i have been through and i would like at the end of each session to be provided with a report, about what we talked, what feelings were expressed, what is your specialist opinion about my situation" They have to give you a report stating why the evaluation was made, with what concerns? what is the social, emotional and financial evaluation.

I understand you are super stressed with all this process, but take it one step at a time and try not to rush into things or take sudden decisions which can do more harm.

    Good Luck!

    Yes, I can speak English.
    Also I can read English.
Sometimes I don’t listen to English (when they answer me) just by ear.
I am a very smart person, I just did not have the opportunity to practice English.

    Thank you.

I can will  write my email for you.

Natalie, try not to use the google translate in exact words, because it transmits the message wrong. When you inquire around to psychologists, what do you ask them? Just trying to understand why they all refuse to do it? Is part of their job as far as i comprehend.

So i'm getting confused here is what my lawyer send me when i asked her in regard the I-864W form :(

      Reveal hidden contents

I apologize for the delayed response. An I-864 is not necessary for your case because it is based on VAWA. As for processing times, this varies because with the current administration in the White House - all processing times are a lot longer than what they used to be. I will pass on your email to Lauren to provide an accurate response

What can i do maybe thats why my I-360 toke 4 years and should i file I-864W myself since my lawyer doesn't see that this is necessary what should i do i don't want a nother 4 years for my I-485 to be reopen and rescheduled ( I-485 based on marriage with US Citizen I-360 approved 50 days ago  ) Can someone please advice ?

As @Stillwinning!!!😊 said, download it, fill it up and take it with you, it won’t delay anything. I got a RFE for it 3 days later and will mail back. Just complete it as you as the filler and not your attorney, if he/she by coming with you. Good Luck!

Your Attorney should have included the form 864w in your file, unless she didn't know much about vawa case.

Also you could have asked people here 1 week before your interview what do you need to get ready.

    We are here to help

Yeah, my attorney should’ve done a lot of other things that she didn’t, but that’s the situation now. And i’ve followed the conversation on this forum and didn’t see anyone mention that they brought this form with them, I had no clue this form is even required. Thanks anyways, I know this forum made me more knowledgeable about VAWA that my attorney would’ve ever done😉
