Hey congratulations. Same thing happened with me as well. My case status changed to ready to get scheduled for interview after one year. 

Nope, was planning to submit an inquiry  to ombudsman on Monday but it got changed today. However, I did submit FOIA request last month to see what’s happening with my case. Let’s see how long they are gonna take to schedule the interview in Houston office.

Guys, finally  my status changed to “Ready to be scheduled for interview” from Fingerprints were updated after 1 year. I hope they will schedule interview soon.

Yeah, u r not alone. I am pretty sure that u wouldn’t have to apply for another renewal 😂 as we will get 2 year EAD. 

I got a response from the ombudsman office that they have contacted Uscis regarding my issue and will let me know the outcome in 30 days. Within 5 days uscis took action on my service request and sent me the appointment notice.

04/13, Houston TX... Still waiting for bio. Agent told me may be end of October. 

16 months is too long. I think at this point you should sue the government (wom). Please, u should hire an experienced immigration attorney at this point.

our package (i-485)  was sent to lockbox facility on 9 April and received it on 13 April. I called Uscis helpline today, and the representative told me that our case was received at the centre on 01 May. 

Well that’s the main issue. Even seeking help from congressman and ombudsman is not gonna work. Several applicant have tried to approach congressman and senators and uscis replied was to them  that they are working on developing new system (IOE case system). 

My PD is 29 April, 19 and got NOA2 on 5 September. It’s already been around 20 weeks and haven’t heard anything from NVC. I called NVC recently and they told me to send a copy of approval notice to NVCresearch. 
I have also contacted uscis and they said they will let me know when they will send to NVC. Honestly, I am feeling so helpless and disappointed getting stucked in between uscis and nvc.

Congratulations Larryday... n 7 months to just get the case number from NVC. You must have had great patience during whole process. 

Did u seek help from ur congressman? 5 months for a case number is not a normal thing.
