Quick update. My case for EAD changed to New Card Is Being Produced today. Not sure when I will have the physic card on hand. I-485 stays remain "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview".

I have just fished two I-797 from the mailbox, that's 6 days after my status of EAD and AP changed to "approved". Now hoping that the actual card itself will arrive very soon! I better start polishing my CV 😁 And obviously, I guess just like sooo many ppl right now, start booking a ticket to visit my family! 😁 So surreal 🤯 But feels great!! 😎 There is hope 😊

in theory your fiancé would be in the last 14 days on Schengen area (because of the transit) so let us know please if that mattered.

remember, this situation is very stressful to most of us. It’s hard when you want to see each other ASAP because it’s been so long. We are here on this forum to support each other not to point on each other’s mistakes I believe.

Another update: AP&EAD status changed to approved on 3rd Sept 2020. AoS is still "interview ready to be scheduled".

My status changed to “New Card being Produced” today. 
NOA1: March 27
Biometrics: August 13

I'm in San Francisco and my EAD changed to Card Being Produced on Saturday. My NOA date is 03/18 and fingerprints on 08/12. I'd say that your might change/be approved very soon.

As of today, Sept 4, my I-765 status changed to "new card being produced" 😁😁😁 however, my AP still says fingerprints were taken. I hope I'll get a combo card soon! 

EAD changed today to new card being produced. 

My I-765 changed to "New card being produced" as well today. Exciting, and happy so many are getting the same notice without expedite! I am assuming that I-131 is going to be approved very soon as well, and that they will produce a combo card.

Now time to go back to being a normal productive human being!

A K1 is not an immigrant visa. It says NON IMMIGRANT VISA right on the top of the visa.
 
The visa bulletin only covers immigrant visas that have numerical limitation as to the number of visas that be issued.  A spouse or child of a US Citizen does not require a numerically limited visa and is processed immediately by the NVC to be forwarded to the consulate.

Someone who AOSes does not get or have a CR1/IR1 visa.  They normally get a conditional green card.
 
The only time a K1 would get a 10 year green card is if they did not file AOS in a timely manner - which is a whole host of other potential issues.

I had been in the US for roughly 7 years and then decided to apply for citizenship, I was called in for my citizenship interview and this is where it was discovered by the officer. I had to file an emergency removal of conditions which delayed my entire process significantly.
 
I landed up having to work with my state senators team to get my case expedited.
 
All in all it worked out and I had a combo ROC interview and N-400 interview and was naturalized last year.
 
I'd recommend contacting a tier 2 rep and have then guide you through the situation
 

It really doesn't matter.  2 year card vs 10 year card is determined at the processing center based on the length of time between marriage date and entry into the US.  Example: Sometimes, people are issued a CR-1 visa at the consulate prior to having been married for 2 years.........but if they enter the US after 2 years of marriage, they would receive a 10 year card.....
 
Real life example:  My wife entered the US 30 days prior to our 2 year wedding anniversary.  The CBP officer said "If you had waited 30 days, you would receive a 10 year Green Card".....Correctly, my wife received a 2 year card.

The OP entered via a CR-1 visa.  The Green Card  "status" was issued the second he/she entered the US.  Thus, the entry date is the "approval" date for CR-1/IR-1 entrants..
