I have finally received the awesome notification that my interview has finally been scheduled for April 28th. I am so excited to finally be heading to the finish line and now I need to prepare all the info.
I do have one question regarding the I693. My wife completed the DS3025 during the K1 Visa process and we applied for the I-485 well before the expiration of the DS3025. The DS3025 expired in Oct of 2020 does this mean she now needs a I693 or is that requirement not pertinent because we already made it this far.

Happy new year everyone just checking back in here with my fellow February applicants. I have been waiting to schedule our interview since Apr 13th. Lets hope that year 2021 brings some good fortune to us and we can obtain our Green Cards and a vaccine shot so we might be able to begin to live a normal life soon 🙂.

Hey Frider I am also waiting for my interview to be scheduled and looks like yours is today. I would love to hear how it went what info you prepared and what some of the questions were. Good luck.

Just received our EAD/AP card in the mail today a relief to now have an official card with our married name on it. Won't be going back to SSA anytime soon to change her name but it feels good to get the card. Still also awaiting our interview appointment date.

Without biometrics it happened?
We completed our biometrics just before the shutdown.

I also received notification yesterday that our EAD card was sent in the mail yesterday. One step closer to the finish line.

Great news my 131 and 765 were approved on July 10th but must have just updated today as I checked yesterday and it wasn't yet updated. Now I fall into the list of people waiting for the cards to come in and still waiting for my Interview to be officially scheduled. One step closer to the finish line.

My status for the EAD changed from "Fingerprints Taken" on March 2nd
To
"New Card is Being Produced" today July 2nd.
It's been a long 6 months since we applied in Feb. My husband and I are overjoyed! We prayed so much for this. Goodluck Feb filers this definately will be our month!! 🙌🏿🙏🏿👍🏿🤠
Congrats that is great news my Wife completed her fingerprints on March 10th so hopefully in a few days time we will get the same great news you have. Still waiting for something to come in the mail regarding our Interview but I expect us to wait awhile longer for that.

The I-485 is what you are interviewing for. No action needed on your part. Your interview will be scheduled when they are ready and open to the public again. It means just what it says they are ready to schedule your interview period!
I am in the same boat continuing to wait for mail to come in as my status has been awaiting scheduling interview.

I receieved a notice in the mail today for my I-131:
It basically said that the biometrics my husband did on March 2nd, 2020 was just for I-485 and I-765 and they will use the "past biometrics" ( I'm guessing they mean biometrics from the Port of Entry) to compare with the biometrics from 3/2 "for security reasons", in order to process I-131. The letter didn't seem like a cause for concern, just thought it was an interesting update, wondered if anyone receieved something similar? 🤷🏿♀️
P.s. This Covid-19 thing is crazy! I pray our process is extremely slowed down by this 😓😵😵😵 but at the same time I hope everyone is safe. Wash your hands and do away with the masks.
Two days ago my Wife had her Biometrics done and just this morning I got email updates that USCIS received the biometrics for the 485 and 765 but my 131 hasn't been updated so I am assuming this will be just like yours. Waiting for the letter in the mail.

Great news I just got my NOA1 in the mail for my I485 and I765 they came as one notice together as well as stating we have our biometrics scheduled for March 10th at our local office. I still don't have the I131 hopefully they didn't lose this one but I am happy to see we are moving forward.

I take that back, I jsut got the texts an hour ago! And looks like case was updated today - they took the fee, so I should see the check cashed soon.
Congrats! A few days ago I noticed that they cashed my check but I have yet to receive any texts or emails so they probably didn't bother with my G-1145 so I will patiently wait for my NOA1. Which local office do you think your case will be going to?

Hi everyone & Sarge
My husband is adjusting from a K1, we sent our AOS packet (I-485, I-765, I-131) on Feb 18th and it arrived Feb 19th at 10AM 🙏🏻
I filed on the same day and got confirmation from UPS that it was received in their mailroom but so far no email or text and they haven't cashed my check yet. Did you get confirmation of your payment being received?

Git er done!
Just to be sure using UPS I am not sending my package to the lock box but to
USCIS
Attn: FBAS
131 South Deaborn - 3rd Floor
Chicago, IL 60603-5517

Going to send off my applications later this afternoon with UPS it is great to be on the next step of the process but not looking forward to that waiting game again haha.

Hello Carolina,
Until you receive anything all you can do is wait. If you do receive an RFE read it carefully and complete the request back to USCIS. People are able to move forward after completing an RFE but your delay does not necessarily mean you will receive an RFE.

It magically changed status over night so we can now get to the Visa Fee page and print out the Bay slip so my fiance can go pay the fee by Cash at the bank. Getting so close...

Hello everyone,
Me and my fiance are currently in the process of completing the packet 3 requirements we have completed the DS-160 and the DS2001 and are currently working on the GSS profile so we can get the required documents to go pay the Visa Fee. My fiance went through the process to create a profile and began the K1 Visa process of adding mailing information and passport information. We got to a page where we needed to upload the passport photo and currently cannot continue on the process it states that the upload was complete and waiting review. Just wondering if we will be waiting awhile for the review to be complete from ustraveldocs or it is a quick turn around we are really trying to get all info sent so we can schedule an interview before the end of the year if we are lucky. Any insight in the GSS process would be greatly appreciated.

We started calling NVC at the beginning of October and got our status and then case number pretty quick. We just missed the last shipment date.
its interesting you haven’t managed to get through to a Hunan at NVC at all. My fiancé is the one that’s been calling as, ya know, I’m in the U.K., but he hasn’t struggled to actually speak to anyone at all and they’ve been super helpful.
I’d say try calling NVC again if you don’t receive a shipped email this coming Tuesday, and if you still can’t get hold of anyone and haven’t had an update maybe you need to contact your embassy to see if it’s arrived?
I am also in the same boat and waiting to see if my status changes this coming Tuesday/Wednesday. I did also call around mid October and got through to someone after being on hold for around an hour and was able to verify that NVC received my packet and provided me my case number. We will see what happens in a few days.
-
Thanks for the info. We have pretty much everything prepared already and will fill out the forms like the DS-160 in the near future. I found out that my packet is still at the NVC so it did not get shipped out to the Embassy this week so I have a few weeks until the next shipments go out.

So for those who's case numbers are not in transit today, when is the next shipment leading NVC?
The next shipment would be on Nov 12th and 13th.
February 2020 AOS Filers (Part 2)
in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports

Me and my wife had our AOS interview today and it was quick and painless. We got there early and were allowed in early. The adjudicator called us in and begin going through the normal application questions. Then we provided our proof of relationship and we explained a few trips we went on and then it was done. We were provided unofficial approval right at the interview and later this evening we are now at the green card is processing. So glad to have finished this process looking forward to not have to think about USCIS for at least 2 years.
