guys I felt hopeless too, specially when I could not see any F2a filer getting il after January 2017 pd. All that is forgiven now... I guess that is how we are as humans.

ir1/cr1 hold on....this last step is fifo based so that is why it seems slow. In reality you have been fast tracked and no point calling nvc or consulate as it is a process driven institution and not people driven. You should respect that. Even if u do get the green card before 2 years of marriage it will be a conditional green for 2 years and u will again have to deal with already backlogged uscis. I know it’s sad but is true. All the best guys.

I am DQ 8 apr 19 and i know people dq in dec 16/ jan/feb/mar 17 who have not got IL. So I don’t think this is the case. Cr1\ir1 are getting il regularly

Don’t take this as F2A.... people often do not file under the right category. It is most probably ir1. No F2A has got an IL for any applicant in 2017.... so 2018 is out of the question.

I posted this in that group. No point calling them. MUMBAI consulate gives out dates and not nvc. A phone call will just waste your time which could be used for someone who is urgent need of some help. Its better to email as atleast it will be on record.

I don’t think it is f2a it must have been ir1 converted case. I kno feb ppl who still got not il.

My cousin was cr1 and it took him 2 years . His pd was nov 16. So i guess it is normal for MUMBAI.

I really don’t know what are their priorities. I have not seen any f2a after jan 17 pd. I still saw and know ir1 who got il having cc of apr 19.

Guys there is no point calling nvc . The interview dates are given by consulate and nvc just passed it along.

I see from the spreadsheet that your CC date is April 8 but we have seen others with later CC dates who have gotten interviews for IR categories.   If they strictly go by DQ dates and your category is current, then you should have gotten an interview already.



 

I don’t know him...u can join the group and ask him. But this is not the first case ...i saw one with cc of apr 19 who got an il in june for mumbai. He was also f3.

FYI

As far as i know there is only one documentarily qualified date where the nvc emails u that they are working with the respective consulate to schedule an interview. It is the day your case gets complete. No separate communication is made stating that your case is completed. Please correct me if i am wrong.

Only cr1/ir1 are consistently getting their interview letters on time. All other visas have been slowed at MUMBAI. So yes they are heavily prioritising citizens.
