I hope someone could advice me on here about my supporting evidence.

1. My husband does not have any address on his DL (he is military) not any other ID. Should I still enclosed mine?

2. We own a house but my husband bought it before we got married. I am not on the mortgage and we don't want to add me (unnecessary credit score hit). Should I explain the reason why I am not enclosing those as well or just leave it be? (seeing a Knome's list above freaked me out)

For context, please my checklist that I put so far:

Copy of 2020 Tax Return Transcript

I know each case is different and each person would tell me different things when it comes to how much evidence they sent.

I will be filling next week. I think I have everything I need to be able to send it in but keep stressing about it as always haha

I came to US on K1 visa, did my AOS and my ROC send-in date is coming soon (in a month). My husband is active duty and we will be moving overseas next year. We don't have the orders yet.

Does anyone have experience with expediting their case for financial hardship while overseas? I've just found out that for the interview and if I need extension stamp for my ROC, I will have to go to USA. I know ROC takes different times each case but I know sometimes it can take over year (and longer) and I am stressing out about it. There is no way I can come here so often to get my stamp in my passport. I won't have orders on time to send them with my ROC as army takes forever.

Anyone had to deal with this? I would be grateful for any experience anyone might have

was just about commented about the rejected one until I saw that you edited. Tbh the whole time, only my 765 was being updated and 131 was acting like I had never submitted even though I got my combo card lol

So my status changed to "My card is mailed to me" and I contacted USCIS to get a tracking number which was not yet available. I found out during the call that my apartment number was not mentioned even though I put it in the mailing address TWICE. So now my card was sent without an apartment number to my address.

What will happen now? I am enrolled in the USPS informed delivery. will that help? Should I contact USPS? please advice

Is your name on the mailbox? Mine GC showed on the informed delivery but I live in the house so that might makes the difference. My informed delivery is 90% precise but there was some mail that did not show on it and arrived, at the same time I do not know how many they missed. Right now, all you can do is keep an eye on it and become best friend with your postman!

You already got your answer but I am also adding that there is definitely no need for SSN for marriage license for Texas. I was K1 fiance and did not need SSN in Bell Country in Texas.

I came to Texas on K1 visa and was unable to get my DL before EAD/GC. The expiration date will be the same as for your EAD/GC. It was annoying but I used my international driving license to get around. I tried 3 different offices with no luck because there are some people who were able to obtain the DL during their AoS without EAD but I have no idea how.

I flew Prague - London - Austin, I did not have any lengthy examinations. The longest wait was to get my luggage lol. I waited 2 hours just to get to my luggage, then the line for immigration was around 30 minutes and then the talk with IO was for about 15 minutes. Anything can happen anywhere, I had the best experience with Atlanta but I know many that would disagree with me. I always like to have some cushion waiting time because I will rather lounge in the waiting room than stress I would not make it.

Also if he had chicken pox as a child, he does not need vaccine.

We tried to expedite both our K1 and AOS because of my husband's deployment with no luck. War zone or no war zone, they didn't care. There are 4 specific categories that your expedition needs to fit it: 

• Severe financial loss to a company or person, provided that the need for urgent action is not the result of the petitioner’s or applicant’s failure to:
  1. File the benefit request or the expedite request in a reasonable time frame, or
  2. Respond to any requests for additional evidence in a reasonably timely manner;
• Urgent humanitarian reasons;
• Compelling U.S. government interests (such as urgent cases for the Department of Defense or DHS, or other public safety or national security interests); or
• Clear USCIS error.

If you can write your request the way it will fit in one of these with evidence, you can try it. We tried it based on his deployment orders and were denied.

Wonder if when they reschedule, and the new appointment is past the 1 year expiration of the medical exam my husband got during the K1 application, if he will have to retake the medical. I hope they will extend the validity of those medical exams due to the circumstances! 

The year is from the time you took the medical till you sent the AoS, not till you have the interview

I did my medical in May, no flu shot. Went for interview in January and they didn't say anything about me not having a flu shot

"If you are a K-1, K-2, K-3 or K-4 visa holder the I-693 instructions state that you are not required to have another medical examination as long as your Form I-485 is filed within one year of your overseas medical examination."

This is taken from this website. I assume that you filled your paperwork less than year from your medical, no?

Did you do your medical for your K1? Did you send it with the AoS petition? It's the paper where it states all your immunizations and vaccines youve had ever since you were kid.

I noticed I have to bring a birth certificate (I'm the sponsor, US citizen), but I was born in an U.S. territory. I wasn't able to get the original copy of my birth certificate since I had to call the hospital (off-shore) to authorize my friends to get the original birth certificate and it won't arrive in time so I had them scan it and I printed it.

 

Question 1: Would they accept this scanned form? There was no way I was going to be able to travel to my home town to get the certificate and fly back due to work.

Question 2: My wife, is pregnant... we just found out 2 weeks ago XD.  If the officer does ask any related questions to pregnancy we'll answer truthfully, but is it worth bringing it up while doing the interview and we supposedly talk about our relationship timeline and happened to give the pregnancy news too?

They did not ask for my husbands birth certificate. We actually sent only my husbands passport with the petition and they didnt ask for neither at the interview as the lady said that she had everything from the petition. Thats just my experience. 

In my opinion I would only answer what they ask me but as you said, do not lie about it if it does come up.

Mine arrived 6 days after approval. It went pretty quick from case approved to USPS getting it to me. I did waited 3 weeks for approval after the interview though.

I felt so confident after the interview as the lady made it sound as I did so well. And then I read how someone has their status changed right after interview!! 😯 I guess these kind of things happen and I just need to be patient. However, the status is still in stuck " interview completed and must be reviewed" for 2 weeks. I am worried if there is something missing or insufficient things to go with approval. 

Oh San Antonio as well and I went on 1/14. That makes me feel little bit better.
