Are they asking this from both?

They have something posted here, which you may have seen, for USC:

    https://cz.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/child-family-matters/marriage-in-the-czech-republic/marriage-information/ (read below the list)

For a Czech citizen this would be called "Právní způsobilost k uzavření manželství". You would get this at "matrika" where you want to marry (if in CZ), if marrying abroad you would get it at ministry of interior ("ministerstvo vnitra") I think.

They probably need some official proof there is no impediment to marry.

Maybe someone else can add more to this.

Just from me. The link seems to be only connected to Americans wanted to get married in Czech. As K1 holder, we would get married in US.

Hopefully there is someone who could confirm which one is it because if it's the one you mentioned, that is hell lot of paperwork.

What kind of vaccinations proof you need to show to the doctor while your medical exam?  I visited my GP and she filled (by hand) so called special Passport of Immunization with history of my vaccinations and put her stamp in front of every entry.  Each entry is translated in English by default in that passport.

My card with my vaccines history is kept in health centre and she just re-wrote what was there.

Would it be enough? Or there is some special paper which needs to be filled in?

Thank you in advance as it seems i can not find any topic about it.

I would ask the doctor while calling in to set up the appointment. They should know the list of things you should bring and also as a doctor from your own country, they should know what is available for you. In my case (Czech republic), I am taking my vaccination records plus the records from my general doctor.

When calling the NVC, how long have you all typically waited on hold? Even calling right at 9am I have not had luck getting through quickly. When I called at 9am on Friday I gave up after 40 minutes or so.

I was on hold for 45 minutes before getting through. I called around noon their time as being overseas and with the time difference, I couldn't call in the morning as advised. I just let it ring and went on doing other stuff while waiting. It might seems like a while but just be patient. You will get through!!! Good luck!

How often shall I call the NVC? Our NOA2 was 20 days ago today. I called yesterday and they said they haven't received it yet...

I don't want to bug them but am super keen to get the case number.

Hi :) I called on day 22 after our NOA2 and they had my case number ready. On day 27 it is already in transit! Just keep calling, it might be frustrating but hang in there, you will get it!

  5. Hi! On Friday 12.04., after 45min hold, I finally got our case number! So whoever is calling there, just keep hanging, you'll get through them!

Yesterday I checked the status that was on "at NVC" and this morning it was already "in transit"! I tried the DHL tracking reference for 16.04. but mine wasn't in it. I saw someone mentioned Wednesday as well? Are there specific dates when they send them out? I saw here Tuesday and Wednesday every other week, is that correct?

    Good luck to everyone!

(My timeline is not 100% accurate yet as my fiancé is the one getting all the emails and mails and he is on his military training at the moment with no access to internet)
