This is an actual courtesy letter. I have this document from last year..it's possible you can get scheduled this year..or most likely early next year! I know how you feel..wanna get it done and over with!😀 I always advice patience..patience! It will happen!👍

Wait like your attorney said for your interview to get scheduled before getting the medicals done. Read that document very well..it implies same as I'm advising.😊👍

My EAD Renewal.
 
Hello everybody,  I applied for my EAD renewal in the beginning of May 2020. My payment for the renewal was taken out of my account ($410) as ACH by uscis on 5/12/20. I was unable to see the receipt number since i can not view the image of the check front or back. I did not receive any receipt in the mail. All of a sudden yesterday I received my approval notice for the EAD Renewal (C09) in the mail.  It took almost 3 months. Now I have the receipt number and looking forward to see update on the card production message. What a relief.

A wounded mind is just as terrible as a wounded body! Abuse is abuse. If you read about VAWA you will find out all that you need to know. It includes physical and psychological/emotional/mental abuse. If you can prove either..then you qualify. We always encourage new members to read previous/early threads..it's very enlightening!👍 also online resources are very helpful as well. Gather all documents that you need..it's a good place to start. Are you attending therapy? Please start ASAP! The psychological evaluation will help you prove abuse in that regard! i was a passive reader for long time. Thanks to everyone  the one who shared the information they got and the one who shared their Timeline. Many stories are inspiring here. I wanted to share my experience hoping it will relieves me if someone got the same with a happy end. I came to The Us on 2008 I overstayed my tourist visa. In  jan2017 got married to a usc he was nice and caring few months later he changed became controlling and abusif he kicked me out of the house many times I had to spend the night in the car,  hit me, took my saving and messed up my credit. We filed i131 on March 2 weeks before the interview he withdrew his petition. I filed i360 on March with lawyers help she is pro bono. As today I m on my 3rd prima facie. 18 months I received RFE they were asking for the divorce decree back home from my first husband to be translated. I remembered  my lawyer already filed it the first time anyway i sent it again translated and certified. They received it on October 17th. Since then didn’t hear anything from them. Does anyone got a RFE after 18 months and do you think they may send another RFE I already lost my father without getting the chance to see him and my mom is getting older all I want now having more time with her I am really exhausted and depressed i feel my life has been on hold for long long time so desperate 

I have no in-depth knowledge of this..but I'm positive that VAWA petitioners aren't classified as "public charge" we're just not put into that category! I believe it's also been said here severally. But yeah I understand your need to thread carefully especially in this political dispensation..where they say one thing and mean another..etc LOL😀 it's always better safe than sorry!💁

Yes, with the God's will- getting there. 
So here is the timeline for Chicago office:
April 25, 2017- Filed VAWA application. Had 3 Prima facies extensions. 
August 6, 2018- RFE for GMC & abuse evidence.
October, 2018- Received my RFE response
January 7, 2019- VAWA approved
January 11, 2019- Received EAD (C31).
February 1, 2019- Filed I485, I131. Included my medicals along with the application
March 11, 2019- case was transferred to another office.
September 25, 2019- Interview notice
The online status didn't change since March 11th. 
 
So average i would say 8 months from the transfer date.
Will keep you posted how the interview goes.
