if u have given ur email address in i.130 form then u will get it in email other wise u have to call them and ask them about ur status.

just got a notification on my mobile app tht case was sent to department of state on 08 feb 2019... feeling a bit more relaxed now.

You have another wait ahead of you. It will take 6-8 weeks before NVC sends you an email giving you your case number and invoice number to access the CEAC website. After that, you start paying fees and uploading documents. Hang in there, the race is almost over. You can see the finish line now.

they are supposed to. mine was changed 1 week after approval to send to Department of state and then NVC received it one week after it was sent.
