Combo card in hand today!!! 🥳🥳🥳 Love Saturday mail surprises lol

Just received our EAD/AP card in the mail today a relief to now have an official card with our married name on it. Won't be going back to SSA anytime soon to change her name but it feels good to get the card. Still also awaiting our interview appointment date.

Called the rep again today. Spoke to Level 2:

I finally got a new appointment notice for biometrics today. Its for AOS and EAD only, not for AP, but at this point who cares?
 
My AOS timeline:
 
Feb 22 applications sent
Feb 24 received
Mar 31 biometrics scheduled in Atlanta, GA, but by that time everything was long closed down due to COVID of course
July 13 ASC Atlanta reopened
Aug 11 new biometrics appointment
 
At this time my case status on the USCIS website still just says fingerprint fee received/ case received
 
I hope this gives some of you some hope to also get your new appointments soon. And fingers crossed they are not going to shut down again before every single one of us got their fingerprints taken!

Thanks! @CMM so I know it’s not just me. I see a lot of people have been approved and are waiting on their cards or have had biometrics rescheduled but I did not receive any updates. My status still says “case received.” When I called I was told I should receive a new biometrics appointment within 2 weeks of my ASC opening. It’s been 2 weeks🤔😒

Hello to all, just an update:  Great News, Today I have received my EAD/AP card from the mail.
 
biometrics completed March 13, 2020.  
 
7/07/2020 Card was Ordered
7/08/2020 Case was Approved
7/24/2020 Card was Mailed
7/29/2020 Card was Delivered

Omg! My I-131 and I-765 got approved today! Haven’t had my biometrics yet either!!

Great news today, my status have been changed from - “Case Was Approved” to “Card Was Mailed To Me”🙏🙏🙏

Hello everyone! I received approval for my EAD/AP combo card this morning without taking biometrics. I heard most of these cards are not mailed until biometrics are completed...but I am still glad my case is moving. 

🌟Woke up to some good news! New card is being produced! The status changed from "Fingerprints were taken" to "New card is being produced". The company I had been working for before I moved has been patiently waiting all this time
This makes me feel SO much better. It was pretty frustrating - and it still is - when they scheduled an interview and canceled it a week later. Still waiting for a letter from USCIS that would explain what happened

7/20/2020: I-765(EAD) status was changed to “Card was mailed To Me”! 🥳
                      Things are moving finally.

I wanted to update that yesterday i received the text messages and emails that the AP and EAD were approved.  We had the biometrics completed on March 16th.
 

status changed from "card being produced" to "card was produced" last jul13.
 
when i checked the mailbox, the card is in there. woohoo!!!!!
 
now, time for me to hunt some jobs.

My wife just got her update yesterday that her EAD card is being produced!

Updated to New Card Being Produced this morning 🥳

Great news my 131 and 765 were approved on July 10th but must have just updated today as I checked yesterday and it wasn't yet updated. Now I fall into the list of people waiting for the cards to come in and still waiting for my Interview to be officially scheduled. One step closer to the finish line.

Go head February 2020 filers, it's getting hot in here, things are looking up hopefully things will begin to pick up for you all!!!!

I just got a nice job last week but I couldn’t fill the I-9 because my OPT expired and I have no time to apply for the STEM extension. I am calling my employer today ASAP. I just hope they hold the job for me. 

So unexpected! The interview was scheduled even before EAD was approved! I'm so excited. Good luck fellow Feb filers!

Probably my first post, but since we've managed to apparently finish this portion of the journey I figured I'd post our timeline to keep the hope alive for everyone waiting:
 
2/14/2020 : I-485, I-765, and I-131 sent to USCIS
2/18/2020 : NOA for receipt for forms (don't recall date we actually got the letter)
3/17/2020 : Biometrics for I-485, I-765, and I-131 (beat the closure by about 3 hours!)
6/17/2020 : NOA for approval of I-485 (COA: IR1)
6/23/2020 : Received mailed copy of the approval NOA
7/7/2020:   Received permanent resident green card
 
Not exactly sure how we skipped right into the permanent resident green card without any interviews, but I'm certainly not going to complain.  I was definitely a slacker in getting my wife's AOS started and we've been married 15 months at this point.  Still quite a bit shy of 2 years though.

Good Morning everyone...so this morning my case tracker status on my ead/ap changed to approved which im soooooo happy about. I have not yet done my biometrics so im wondering does anyone know what happens from here as in do you get approved and then it changes to card being produced. It says a notice with instructions will be sent out.

Today we just found out our case was updated to show that a new card was being produced. My husband has been waiting anxiously for his EAD for a long time, especially since I was laid off because of the pandemic. And it's his birthday July 10th, so great timing!
I've never posted on VJ before, but I wanted to share the good news and give hope to everyone still waiting. We filed February 5th, the biometrics appt was on March 2nd, and the case update came on July 1st (the website was down, so we didn't see until today). Our case was at the National Benefits Center in conjunction with our i485 (no AP filed). Congratulations to everyone else who has gotten their cards and good luck to everyone else! You guys were right, this really is our month!
