I don't know if there is anything to this, but last mailing it seemed that the earlier NVC dates went first, and the later NVC dates followed later. GC has 2/20 so you gotta be coming up fast here.
And ZF has their date a day after so hopefully soon! I'm still so worried I might not make it today.

Still at NVC here.

Went out on 2/19 with no delays. So today is all those cases that were assign a case number with the cut off being either Wednesday or Thursday last week. That has never been verified but it is what has been reported by those who missed the shipment deadline.
Which means if we got our case number the same week as the last shipment, it's most likely that we'll be shipping out today right? My fiancé hasn't been able to do the DS160 yet, will the affect whether our case goes to the embassy today?

Same😂😂🤦🏽♂️ We almost have identical dates for NVC. Lets pray it sends today!
I think it's pretty likely that we'll be going out today. Our case number was assigned nearly two weeks ago.

You can start now because it's a website (ceac.state.gov) you will be checking so have fun and good luck. Be sure to select "immigrant" and enter your case number to track.
I'm already getting so nervous!

@itsjustcassiee - Thanks, Cassie! I'm in China right now and it's nearly 11 p.m. here. But I think that I can do another hour.
They're open now.

OK ... does anyone know why the NVC would be closed right now? It is Monday, March 4 at 0930 EST and not a Federal holiday. I've been trying to get the call center at (603) 334-0700 for 30 minutes and the recording says that they are closed.
A few of them are having delayed openings due to hazardous weather. Try again in half an hour.

I hope we all do! I wasn't worried at all about it until today 😕
Why are you worried about it today?

I would love to know this to! We got RFE's that requested we send photos, affidavits from people who know us as a couple, my fiance had to write a statement detailing all the times we had seen each other and receipts and tickets of times we had seen each other and things we had done together (we submitted them with the original application), no idea what else to bring to the interview other than newer photos, cards & affidavit or support and taxes returns? Also having the major fear we might not get sent out tomorrow-we got our case number last Tuesday after we queried it (NOA2-January 23rd)
This entire thing hurts my brain.
I'm pretty positive you'll make the shipment tomorrow, though I'm nervous too!!

Here is the fail safe for conditions such that you suggest could happen. It's called a 221(g) given at the interview for missing documents. Normally given for those items that are listed on the embassy P3. If for some reason a different document is asked for, which rarely happens, then the CO can issue a 221(g) (it's an RFE only a different moniker) requesting the document(s) that is needed to complete the adjudication of your case. No harm just a slight delay in the issuance of the visa.
I ask you to find someone from your embassy that received a 221(g) for any document not listed on the P3 for that embassy. I'll be waiting.
Even if you're sarcastic, it's always reassuring 😂 thank you, I'm glad it isn't a common occurrence. Honestly, in Iceland, I doubt they have a lot of K1 cases in general, so I'm sure I'd be hard pressed to find anyone lol.

Well, the sending of the I-129f is good as the beneficiary can review your background in the event the CO as a question then they are prepared. BTW the interview will last about 5 min. Not enough time for your beneficiary to show the kitchen sink because he doesn't need to bring everything including the kitchen sink. Sometimes wonder if my sarcasm relates to other cultures.
I knowwwww but in those 5 minutes, they could ask for anything 😂

Depends on the Embassy.
Oh shoot, I always forget that. Also, I think for the I-129 you had to submit a birth certificate and photocopy of a passport, so if you have a copy of that, you could include it to be safe? I sent my fiancé the copy of our 129 so he'd have everything that we originally submitted 😂 I'm way too paranoid about having enough documentation.

As the sponsor do I need to also provide proof of my identity? Like does my fiancee need to provide either my passport information or certificate of naturalization? I'm not seeing that anywhere in the requirements but I've read people include them in the packet for the interview.
I read that you need proof of a domicile in the U.S. such as a United States passport, yes.

The P3 letter you are reading has two sections under that heading. The first is for immigrant and the second (further down on the page) is non-immigrant which is further down the page.
Yeah my fiancé said when he logs in, it shows the 160, I'm sorry, I'm just feeling a bit overwhelmed with it. And now that I've sent him everything he should need on my end, I'm feeling a bit anxious since I have nothing more to do except wait.

Here are the instructions for the interview. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hrwI4lWxEdicfRafJipcpti-Y0vYPMyg/view?usp=sharing Use the "pre-interview check list" to continue preparing for the interview.
I have the document, but I'm also a bit confused about the DS-260 vs 160. Which one do we do?
