One of my banks allowed it after I filled out a W8BEN for my spouse. My spouse has a us taxpayer ID # since I filed joint with him this year.

WeChat records, relationship photos and a notarized letter describing our relationship.
We submitted all of that and on top of it, I added him as joint owner on one of my bank accounts and beneficiary on another.

Finally got CC after not one but two RFEs at NVC. 😅😐

Hi folks,
 
I’m so relieved that my husband’s passport came back today with his IR-1 visa from the Consulate!! He can fly back to the state with us, yay!!
 
I can’t believe how fast the Consulate responded to our additional proofs of my US domicile. They received our documents last Friday around 4pm local time and they approved the visa on the same day. July 1 is a local holiday and they mailed back his passport on July 2 then we received it today (July 3).
 
Thank you all VJ members who have helped me throughout this long process and wish everyone who are still waiting for a visa on hand will get it soon!

It was his birth certificate, I think it was because I only submitted 2 pages (original + translated original) and they might of wanted the notary certification and translated version of that as well, 4 pages 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Schalcon You also got the CC today, right? I got it too!! So excited but anxious for waiting the interview date.

I have similar timeline with you, my PD is also 4/12 and they received my RFE documents on 2/12. Hopefully we both will get a NOA2 very soon and expecting an extra 30 days for this. 

I have experienced this recently and finally I had USCIS faxed the copy of my RFE to me. I will mail the requested documents back to them today and hopefully will get the approval soon. This stupid RFE has delayed my case for over a month. Sigh...

They said they sent RFE to my wife’s address but she never received it. Asked for an address change, completed and yet she didn’t receive any package in the post. I am livid but one can’t do much than to inquiry and hope 🙏🏾

I just received an letter in the mail that the officer is still reviewing my case and to allow 60 days for either decision Or corespondence ...

They are all covering their Back, Nothing much buddy... when we call CSR we get just generic answer.. "You will get your response within few week".. Honestly!! THEY DONT CARE.. and the most WORST part is we can do Nothing about it other then Just Sit, be Patient  and WAIT, WAIT and WAIT and WAIT..

Im waiting since January 2018

I wonder if they’re really that slow or they’re just skipping over my application 😭 they’ve got May approvals and I’m still here waiting on an update for my early April 2018..

We just need to hang in for a while because each case are different from others so they’re basically doing their job but hopefully they would make the right decision soon rather than later. Hang in tight
