Fari Pari got a reaction from Carpe Vinum in I-751 September 2021 Filers
Thank you I got guidance from the other users. I did not realize that early submission will be automatically rejected. We are now waiting until after baby is born.

Thank you just checked and did not know they can automatically reject a filing if done before 90 days. We were told to file in November for March expiring GC by the immigration officer who interviewed us. Our baby is due in November or can be early as October. We did not want to hold the filing given the uncertainty with pregnancy and added stress of filing for the petition.

Fari Pari got a reaction from GeeRaf in July 2019 - AOS Filers
We had our interview yesterday in the Chicago Field Office. The interviewer was very nice and talked to us for 45 minutes. First checked ID and passport for both of us. Next did bio-metric check by taking his pictures and scanning both index fingers. We took the oath and she asked for few documents and verify information on the application. Next was requesting any new documents utility bills, joint account, medical insurance etc. After all said and done she asked us to tell her our story and we started telling her how we met and how our family reacted to our engagement. We gave her pictures (so many pictures lol) of us in UAE, NYC, Chicago, Florida etc. She took many pictures as evidence to add to our file and was glad that we were so organized. We were told we are approved and handed over letter with approval. She mentioned she will not hold case for review and approval will be right away. As of this morning our case says approved. Only thing she did not ask for was the medical I-693 form. We had the sealed envelope and remembered last night that she never asked for it. We are very happy and looking forward to getting his GC soon. Also, she mentioned that if you have a SS card to go back to office once the GC arrives to remove the condition on it.
Praying everyone has an interview as easy as ours! She was very nice and we loved talking to her.

Whoa.. my father in law's AOS just got approved on Oct 25, with NOA date 7/11/19. We live in DFW.
No interview, no correspondence since the fingerprints - just received the notification that case was approved and card is in production. Mother in law's case still open (NOA date a week later).

There are a few ways to do so:
1.Old USCIS website https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus
2. New USCIS website https://my.uscis.gov where you need to make an account (also can sign for receiving notifications). This website also has a virtual assistant Emma and basically through Emma you can contact a real assistant It makes sense to check both of websites since sometimes one of them receives updates faster than another.
3. Also there are a few apps for phones. However as far as I know they are connected to old website.

I tried to be safe and provided all the supporting income evidence I submitted with the fiance visa application. I suggest providing as much as you can even bank records and a letter of explanation.

Congrats! Mubarak...My husband when we applied for his K-1 visa he was living in Abu Dhabi and he is from Pakistan. He did get his police clearance certificate from both Pakistani and UAE. I suggest you get both.
Best of luck and if you need guidance you can PM me.

Thank you all we did one month a page. Nervous about tomorrow's interview. My fiance and I created documents checklists to organize all the documents and keep everything together. Attaching it for others to use.

Fari Pari got a reaction from chs_ in DECEMBER 2018 K-1 NOA2 ----> NVC
My fiance had his interview at Abu Dhabi embassy and we got approved :). Very happy and excited. I just have one big question is it better if he travels from Abu Dhabi to USA or he can go to Pakistan and travel from there? POE can be Abu Dhabi for both point but just worried that if he goes to Pakistan before traveling to USA there might be issue. Anyone has any idea?
