Omg you still here as well? We still have April also Montreal. The January CC already had hers Aug 5. 

I really wish it’s because of that because honestly I have no other explanation. The last person who got an IL from my country got CC a month before me and it just vanished after that. There isn’t much people on here from my country so maybe there are just too many applicants? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Just spit balling here. 
 
Police certificates are valid for 1 year and from my understanding it needs to be current at time of interview. Traveling only becomes an issue when the medical exam expires before arriving to POE. 

Looking on the bright side. This month happens to be my birthday month and wedding anniversary so an IL would be great right now. I’ll private message you on what is needed for the interview for Dhaka.

I think it has to do with f2a being current. Every embassy was going smoothly until July interviews. Then it just stopped. Either that or having to do with summer tourists and student visa interviews. 

We don’t have borders on our nikanama docs so I can’t say if nvc will have a problem with it or not but as long as the texts are visible on both the urdu and English I think you should be good.

Try to use a scanner than feeds the paper through and not a glassbed scanner. Glassbed scanners only scans 8x11 and smaller. The feeder will allow you to scan legal size documents. My hubby scanned our nikanama doing that and emailed it to me. The whole page came up in one scan. 
 
Just be sure that there is no creases or folds. Anything that is cut off will result in resubmitting it again. Hope that helps!

The i864(ez) forms can only be taken as a photocopy. Unless the petitioner is planning to go there then they can bring originals. I just scanned mines to hubby just made color photocopies. They just need to make sure that it’s signed by the petitioner and to match it with the scanned to nvc. I wouldn’t want to risk sending my personal info through international mail to BD just to have it lost or whatever may be the case. All OG documents should be documents of the beneficiary. They even said to just take photocopies of proof of domicile, proof of citizenship of the petitioner. It only makes sense. At least that is what we are planning to do. 

For I864/I864EZ you can take the copy instead of original (signed). I know people in Dhaka embassy got approved with the I864/I864 EZ copy. For birth certificate, you can search travel.gov and check the country and visa specific requirement. For IR5 (for Parents), my parents need to bring my (Petitioner) original birth certificate as that's the critical evidence for proof of relationship [as mentioned in Travel.gov]. For IR1/or spouse visa I don't think so you need the original BC.

I called the NVC and one thing they said was that they are still scheduling visa interview dates for August In bangladesh. 

Right. So they're doing SOMETHING. CC 12th June waiting for an IL at Dhaka embassy too.

Someone else here has a CC of 14th May as well. I'm hoping we all get IL dates for August this week. Or one of us. Something. Anything.

My CC is May 14th. Today marks two months and one day of it being documentarily qualified.

A lot of people waited long at the Nvc and still waiting for their interview. Honestly it’s depend on how many people applied. Less people applied the fastest you will get an interview date. The more people applied the Longer You have to wait. Remember that. Not because you waited at the NVC long enough means you will get your interview day faster.
