There are tons of people in your situation, people who filed back in 2018 even. Just check the ROC threads for each month and you will see how many from late 2018 are still waiting.

There is nothing you can do to prevent your extension letter from expiring. It will expire, and that's it.

If you feel that you nee proof of your status in the US you can call USCIS when you have 30 days or less left on your extension letter. You ask for an infopass. At the infopass you can have your passport stamped with an I-551 stamp. That stamp is proof of your status just like a greencard is.

Also remember, just because your extension letter expires doesn't mean you lose your status. It only means that the proof of your status expires.

Today i found out some useful information for my self and potentially you guys.
I called USCIS, and they told me offices are not completely open, and thats why they are not doing so many i751 interviews. They will be open completelly on July 13.
Hopefully this gives you some peace, who is waiting just like i am, to be rescheduled after cancelled interview.

@Joshiandmiri What country are you from? Another option (but would need an attny) is to file ROC under hardship waiver. Believe it or not but the hardship waiver does not require you to prove bonafide marriage. Its very similar to asylum. So depending on where you are from it may be an option. But you would have to qualify for the hardship waiver similarly to how you would qualify for refugee/asylum status. Is that something you think you may qualify for?

The other waivers for ROC include divorce waiver - which you just went through or abuse waiver. It was posted about an alien who was able to qualify for VAWA with an annulment based on fraud. Interesting as that might be, VAWA does not apply here as you have a greencard and are applying to remove conditions. The abuse waiver ROC is part of VAWA laws however it requires you to prove both abuse and a bonafide marriage.

Once more the best thing you can do right now is look into getting the annulment appealed if possible. Reach out to probono or advocacy groups in addition to getting free consults with top local attnys.  If you are going to remain in the US to try to figure this out you can go get a 551 stamp of status. You will be an LPR until a judge strips it from you, so you can and should get a stamp as that would be your only proof of status.

Hi, this morning I just received the same notice as Renegade:
    Interview Cancelled
On March 12, 2020, we cancelled the interview scheduled for your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number MSC19907XXXXX. We will notify you by mail if the appointment is rescheduled, a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

This was confusing because we have never received an interview notice. Been at "Ready to be scheduled for an interview" since June 5th. I called the 800 number and was told that, while an official interview was not scheduled, the Request for an Interview does expire and needs to be refiled to be put the petition back in the queue. This is most likely because they have a back-up in applications and with the other interviews they have to schedule and complete that were in the queue before my husband.

At least he confirmed the petition was at my local office. And he thought, maybe, I would be getting a letter from them. Nothing to do but continue to wait.

Not super clear, but that was the info I was given. (Sigh)

Just noticed that you're a CR-1. The absolut majority, if not all, CR-1 end up at MSC immediately. So they must have made a mistake in your case and sent your petition to CSC first, and that's where they realized your case belongs at NBC (MSC) instead. No wonder it was transferred very soon after you filed. The people at the lockbox routed your petition to the wrong service center.

Nowadays it seems like everyone who hasn't been interviewed INSIDE the US before, will get an interview for ROC. Those of us who had an interview inside the US for AOS are likely to not be interviewed for ROC (unless it's a red flag case or you can't produce enough evidence).

Annulment due to fraud will be strongly considered by the IO. They aren't going to overrule what a judge has already determined, which is that there was fraud.
Annulment itself is not a basis for denial.

Annulments are not easy to obtain, especially in comparison to a divorce.

It looks like a lot of those who ended at MSC from both December and January are receiving “ready to be scheduled for interview”.
Seems like MSC are getting ROC to ease the load from the service centers and maybe sent them to local offices for interviews.

We we will see when/if more from MSC report updates.

I am starting to see some patterns of petitions filled after Dec. 10th, for those of you who came to the US via CR1 immigrant visa and had their interview in their home country, the case goes directly to MSC center and eventually status gets updated for scheduling an interview without any RFE. Basically, CR1 applicants are looking get interviewed by default per this new pattern I am seeing. Please share if you don't fall into CR1 category and your case was assigned at MSC center directly.

Well it’s difficult to give advice if you are withholding pertinent information. For example, if the grounds for annulment are fraud or the fact that your wife was not legally free to marry then she won’t be able to keep her green card as she was not entitled to it in the first place. If it’s a physical incapacity to consummate the marriage or a mental health issue then she can keep her green card as her medical problem does not exclude her.
