I got my visa few weeks ago el7amdulellah after two years of AP, they were late as usual after calling me but better late than never ..
i wish everyone all the luck in this scary exhausting process

No one can say for sure if it will be a problem as each embassy is different. I would not volunteer the information but if asked it's ALWAYS the right thing to do is confirm it. Being truthful is the best policy to follow.

You have a good perspective on what could happen if it was too old, by referencing the picture. And with that I have to concur. That's why I advise applicants to do the ds-160 after they received the case number. It would only be a month or two before they have their interview so it's still be pretty fresh. Red flags are things that don't right in case "facts". I think having relatives and showing rings and all that stuff is a big plus and shows that your relationship is in the open and serious. I hardly think it'll be anything near a red flag.
Another big plus is being present together at the interview, nothing less nothing more.

Engagement pictures are good. Why would they be red flags? In our case we had a small engagement party before my fiance’s interview so he was able to bring our photos with him.  It must have been a good move because my fiancé got a call from the embassy last week saying his visa is ready after months in AP.  We have not received his passport and visa yet but isA we will before the week ends.
 
Regarding the K-1 process in Egypt, our experience was not out of the ordinary if you compare it with other Middle Eastern or Muslim countries.  The Administrative Processing is definitely a source of frustration but in our case my fiance have been in AP for almost 5 months before we saw hope.  To be honest, I am not entirely sure if Egypt being an Arab nation has something to do with the wait time, it could be just that the embassy is experiencing a backlog due to increased visa applications.
 
My advice is be prepared for a long wait. While it is frustrating (unfortunately emailing the embassy for updates will not do any good), let them do their work within the indicated time frame and follow up after 60-90 days.

Well in the beginning of the trip they are Porters then when you are ready for bed they pull the partition so they are called portioner's. You need to get out more often. Trains are the way to go....

We received our case number this morning (12/10/2018).  Called them this morning, and the lady had the case number for me, I have yet to receive an email from them.  Now off to the next step...can't wait for this to be over!

Actually all I remember that they were 2 injections. He doesn't have to get his previous vaccinations.
The cost of everything is about 1800 EGP.
Once he goes there and ask about the US embassy medical exam they will tell him where to go and what to do.
He has to take passport pictures of him with him I think 3 or 5 , a photo copy of his passport and your passport and his interview letter.

There are only 2 hospitals in Cairo that he can go for the medical exam. Nothing to worry about , it's very simple. They will ask him if he had any surgeries before and if he takes any medication. Then he will take the shots "they already know them".. they will ask him to buy them from the pharmacy. Then he will make a chest X-Ray. They will give him a card of a lab for the blood test. 
After 10 days he will go again to get the medical report. He has to take the envelope with him to the interview.

I just had to post.  This is my first post here on this site.  I just got the NOA 2 approval in the mail today!  My fiancé and I are so excited.  We submitted the initial petition on may 7th, and were approved on October 23rd.  I only check my mail once a week, so it was probably sitting in the mail box for a couple days.  I just find it strange that I did not receive a text or email before I got the snail mail.  When I first sent the petition I got a text 3 days later saying that the USCIS had received it.  I have not received email, or text for NOA 2 yet.  I know we still have a long way to go, but this initial approval is a very important hurdle to overcome. 

We are going to begin to see many approvals and case assignments toward Wed/(Thurs is a holiday so no work)/Fri as the next week is case shipment week. Keep checking.

NOA2 approved October 30th and now we wait to hear from the NVC.
 

Question.. When is the best time to send I134 to your Fiancé ? My file is at NVC and I am hopeful that it will get it shipped by EOM (Nov 27th 🙏).
Is it Okay to send I134 and other docs dated as of today? or more closer to Interview date? Also my bank didn't gave me letter stating total deposited. Instead they got me a print of date account open and balance as of today. Will this work or should I consider getting formal letter..?
