Nice find, @Huckleberry&Koala! I also found this "The speakers confirmed that I-751 receipt numbers with the prefix MSC are routed for interview scheduling; receipt numbers that do not contain the MSC prefix (e.g., EAC, VSC, LIN, etc.) are routed to the appropriate service center for an interview waiver determination." https://www.dhs.gov/publication/uscis-processing-concurrently-pending-forms-n-400-and-forms-i-751

I was not aware of the fact that cases sent to the National Benefits Center from the get-go are routed there for interview scheduling.

I know of an EAC case that was requested for an interview in New York City

CARES Act covers Coronavirus treatment costs for the insured.

If you have a newborn I’m assuming you’re relatively young. Assuming also that you are in good health otherwise, your risk of needing hospital treatment in the event you were to contract coronavirus is so slim I’m surprised you’re concerned about it but seemingly not concerned about other conditions that are statistically far more likely. In any event, good health insurance is essential to your family’s physical and financial well-being and it should always be the priority of any immigrant or returning citizen, coronavirus or no coronavirus.

Why would you assume he's young because he has a newborn. Regardless of his age, covid can affect people differently, so there is a reason for concern.

  3. First and foremost coming to the US on a nonimmigrant visa with the intention to adjust status is fraud. Secondly some j1 visa are subjected to a two year residency rule which means that a person cannot adjust status until they return to their country not residence for two years. If you want your boyfriend to legally reside in the US I would suggest you do the CR1 visa.

  4. I got a RFIE for my affidavit of support, my husband and I filed joint tax return and he did not include his w2 with the tax transcript. We did send in his employment letter stating the hours worked and the hourly rate which is slightly above the proverty line, but immigration said he did not meet the requirements. I have a joint sponsor, USCIS is asking for his w2 for the joint tax return, should I also redo his form I864? Someone was telling me that I needed to do form I864a because it was a joint tax return, and I should put zero for my income, is it true?

    Hi Guys,

I did my biometrics on September 19, I made my USCIS website account a week later and plugged in the four case numbers I have for AOS. I’ve checked multiple times and it still says “Fingerprint Fee Was Received” (dated August 29, that’s when they cashed the money orders).

Does anybody here who has issues as well with their case numbers not being updated?

I have the same issue, did bio on September 4th and still says fingerprint fee received.
