My husband had his interview this morning.. and Alhamdulillah he was approved! He will recieve his passport in 2 to 3 weeks in shaa Allah!

Yes I believe so, because we had ours July 2020.. so I think maybe in the next couple of months..

He just checked his passport and found there is another visa on there.. and it's fine.. thank you so much..

No fee needs to be paid at the time of the interview.  What happens is they will give your husband a handout showing how to pay the USCIS immigration fee prior to your husband entering the US.  This fee covers the cost of his green card and costs $220.  I paid it by credit card after my husband's visa was approved.  It just needs to be paid before US entry.

Yes thankfully he was!  Overall he had a good experience and said the consular officer was very nice.

Hi AngieQ, just wanted to chime in, my husband arrived at embassy at 6:30am and was second in line.  They started letting people in at 8 and he was out by 9:30am.  He said the actual interview with the consular officer lasted about 5 minutes, but prior to that he had to review his paperwork with an embassy employee to make sure he had all necessary documents.  He said this part was harder than the interview itself (he hates paperwork).  Hope that helps.

That's awesome good luck! I'd say be prepared for anything even though they literally didn't ask for much from me at all. also don't arrive too early at the gate unless you wanna wait like I did lol.
My appointment was at 8:30 am I arrived at 6:30 they let me in at 8. 
Be relaxed and know that they've already made up their mind and that the financial requirements aren't as strict as they used to be because they didn't look at any financial documents I had at all even though my fiancee improved her financial situation drastically during the pandemic.
ALSO please try your best to get as much sleep as possible I couldn't do that at all because of the nerves and it made me hella shaky haha.

So is Egypt the only country who's American embassy isn't back opened to do regular visa services???

I really hope so... we are all so tired and just want to get all this over with.  It's heart breaking.  In shaa Allah soon

Even if the k3 was available,  the same government documents are needed.  You would be in the exact same place.   

Yes, and even back when the K3 was available, you could not start that process if your I-130 was already approved.  

Whomever "told you" that, is wrong.  That information is a decade out of date.  Even ten years ago, it was only a few weeks faster.  Now, the K3 is actually not available.  Not for a decade.
 
 

Definitely not something you can fix. Please wait till CEAC contractor will fix the problem (usually happens within a workday)
