Very normal. I've been approved at my interview now and that site still says case received and I'm way on from that stage now. It's kinda like they aren't really keeping up. If you've got your NOA2 just crack on getting ready for the next stage because trust me this part goes  very quickly!

I've booked a return flight as I had intended to come back end of the year for a family occasion but this was before i realised how long AOS was taking so I'm just  going to cancel it but I've risked it because those one way tickets are very costly lol

Thank you both! Would never of thought about it so yes, its a quick form (what's one more at this stage in the game lol) so worth doing for sure if there were any emergencies back with family. Thanks for the advice!! 

So far I've only noticed spouse visas getting the electronic processing, but I haven't paid a lot of attention to that.

Unless your package is so ripped open that you could take out a paper, alter it, and slip it perfectly back in, then no worries. A small tear on the corner is okay. It's happened before.

I would advise you to submit the I-131 along with the I-485 and I-765.  It is better to have advance parole, even if you now think you won't need it.  Numerous posters have failed to file the I-131, but regretted it later.  It takes only a few minutes to complete, and it's free if filed with or after AOS.

AP = Advance Parole
It allows you to seek re-entry to the US if you go abroad while your AOS is pending. If you submit the I-765 and I-131 together your EAD will be an EAD/AP combo card. Combo cards say "SERVES AS I-512 ADVANCE PAROLE":

Regular EADs say "NOT VALID FOR REENTRY TO U.S.":

Filing Forms I-765 and I-131 with Form I-485
If you are filing Form I-485 and pay the required fee (or already filed Form I-485 and paid the required fee on or after July 30, 2007), you do not have to pay an additional fee to also file a Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization and/or Form I-131, Application for Travel Document for advance parole. You may file these forms together.

Yeah I've heard a few people mention they're trying the electronic process but I wasn't that lucky. I don't know if it's only for special cases or not but 
 
It really doesn't, we've spent so long saying:
"Just one more stage?"
"One more step"
"Few more weeks and we'll hear something"
"Maybe today"
"One more step"
"Last step now" 
 
Then all of a sudden, it's here. I was driving back and it hit me like, wow, it's done. We can be together, I know there's still an abundance of paperwork etc but that doesn't matter. We've done it then and are filing it together. It's a crazy thought! So happy for you and glad you had a similar experience

Never heard of a digital option...that would be handy as one less thing to worry about forgetting when heading to the airport lol 
I think i will be the same as you though, constantly looking at it when it arrives. It still doesn't feel real that it's all gone through!

Obsessive checking....now that's something I understand for sure! I was like "Nah I'll maybe check it once every few days", which swiftly turned into a few hours at times lol 

Thank you!! Yes  i know about the website...it went on maintenance on Friday and is only now just back up and running so of course now begins the obsessive checking for changes lol I'm hoping for the same quick turn around like you so hopefully have it all back end of the week

Had a 2 hour train journey to kill time on so have posted my review but I wanted to thank everyone who has advised me, answered my questions, calmed my nerves with their experiences. I would never have been so prepared if it wasn't for the help this site provides so I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I'm not going to write up another full review in this post but I just wanted to confirm now I've experienced it that the interview part really is the easiest part. Not anywhere near the horror stories I had put into my own head and really was a great experience.
So on that note I guess you can all tell that yes I got....
APPROVED!!! YAY!!

Oh absolutely, I can't wait for my last day! 6.5 years and I've finally escaped!! 
We're looking at Vegas yes, there's a place that does a little outdoor rooftop terrace gazebo one and we're looking at that. It turns out the reasoninig behind is because of the women in Gilmore Girls (?) got married outside at a gazebo....go figure haha.
 
It's going to make such a minimal difference, when I could collect was the 15th yet delivery was the 18th (due to a weekend). I just couldn't confirm where I would be with Courtney's trip upcoming so I opted to pick it up instead of deliveries failing. 
 
As usual, Wuozopo providing all the information before I read all my notifications....I'm just going to put "What Wuozopo said" on paste and that can be my response 99% of the time 😉
