Thanks for the write up Luke, and congratulations! I'm guessing you didn't need any proof of relationship?

Bah I missed that sorry! This is what happens when you write a review at work!

I did take additional evidence and proof of ongoing relationship, we had updated letters of intent also and none of that was asked for.

Easily done! What sort of things did you take for that out of curiosity? I can't imagine how you must be feeling right now!

I took screen shots of our call log (we use whatsapp) and just pasted them into word, message counter, few photos of more recent trips since filing, wedding & engagement ring receipts. They wanted nothing.

I didn't bother with additional texts and whatnot as generally speaking as we both cuss like crazy!

It's an unreal feeling, it genuinely is. Just sheer elation. 30+ thousand miles, 10+ months of paperwork, so many worries, stressors and uncertainty on the process and that's it. All for 7 minutes at a window :P

This site has made it so much better as there's always someone who knows what's needed and sometimes it's just nice to read other's experiences.

I'm sure it'll all go smoothly! Keep me posted.

I'll be sure to update when I get it, to be honest if you're in Mainland UK you'll probably hear me yelling when I pick it up.

Congratulations on your approval!! It must be such a relief to know it’s all over and you’ll be together soon.

I am currently at the NVC stage so all this is great for when I’m going for my interview.

Congratulations! How long from the NVC accepting your documents did you get an interview date?

We're a K1 so we booked our own interview. We received our case number on the 8th Jan and started booking things.

Ooo I hope so!! It's so exciting.

Where abouts is your fiancée from in the states?

It genuinely is and it's such a relaxing process at the embassy once you're in so it's really not too bad.

She's from Michigan and yours?
