he got his visa on 05/17/19 
note: when we when to the interview the co didn’t receive the medical exam and because of that we had to wait a little longer than usual to get the passport with the visa. But usually in DR most people get it in between 3 or 5 business days.

Mine says the same thing. It also mentions the submission date of my DS-260 form but for the documents, it says: "Action required: submit requested documents."
 
 
 

When was your husband's interview? And when did he receive the visa? Your timeline is not filled in. It would really help others. 

Yes the Rep just confirmed they are done with June. But as we know they are never really done cause someone will end up with a June interview. I don’t understand their scheduling system. But anyway she said they will start beginning of June giving out interviews for July. 
When is your CC date, mines is May 3rd. I was really hoping for a June interview. I’ll be in DR May 31 to June 11. 

lol thank you. let me know if you get through to them. I'm in D.R. right now with my husband for a few days. Hopefully the next time I come back it's for his interview. our anniversary is July 2 so hoping they can give us an interview before that date or around that date.

Yes.. that was on monday. But... ive been hearing they are done for june in all embassy. Ill call right now again and ask. Ill get back to u in about 1 hr. 🤷‍♀️

Awww... our anniversary is June 6. This is our 3rd yr of marriage. And so far we have been able to spend those times together. Along with our birthdays, mines June 8, n his June 3. I Thank god everyday that I am able to see my husband often. 🙏🏾 Cause lord know this process is stressful enough. I am praying for you and us all that we can be with our spouse permanently soon! 🙏🏾

Yes... she told me they still scheduling for june. Whether its true or not..who knows. But i specifically ask her.. are they scheduling for june interviews she said yes they are. I asked her am i still in line for interview date. She said yes. I told her im hoping for a june interview she said she dont see that im schedule yet, but they are still giving out interview for june.

Don’t lose hope!

Hello everyone I got approved for my interview this morning at the American Embassy in Accra . My interview was at 7:30 am .by 7am we were asked to queue and was ushered in after showing our interview letters at the entrance.  Whiles in there i was lucky to be called first to submit my documents to a Very Polite Ghanaian woman. She requested for my medical report,  police certificate,  passport , two passport pictures,  original birth cert, copy of my son's birth cert , a copy of his passport  ( my son got automatic citizenship here in Ghana and has an American passport ), any other documents that shows proof of relationship so I gave them a photo album , receipts from Western union,  money gram and world remit, a copy of my husband's passport with stamped pages of entry and exit from Ghana , and a few copies of whatsapp call logs and messages . After i submitted all I was asked to go sit and wait . After 10 minutes i was called to window 7 where I met an American man who will be around 40 years and he asked who filed for me I responded,  he asked when we met , when we got married , when did my husband leave Ghana,  what job he does , what is his job description,what is the name of the company my husband works. I answered all these questions confidently and he kept smiling .He said the words ' you have been approved,  congratulations ' .He didn't ask to see any financial documents. Thanks for your prayers and advise.Good luck to all who will be having their interview soon and I pray y'all get interview dates sooner .Remember to keep eye contact and speak louder .

We just received the email that my husband's interview will be June 12 in Rio!!  Faster that we expected but we are so happy!  CC was May 2, interview email received today, May 21, interview June 12.  God is watching over us.  Now we're changing our travel plans for June.  We had planned to be together for a week on the beach in Brazil to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, June 21, now we're adjusting for this news, to be together for his medical exam June 5 and interview June 12.  Good luck everyone while you wait.

It took my husband's 17 days counting weekends.  We received CC on April 22 and Interview date on May 9 for an Interview on June 7.
