Last year a lot of people couldn't get an interview date in Moscow, there were none almost always and some cases had to be extended because of it. Eventually though everyone got an interview, just had to spend some time waiting. I am mentally prepared that when my case is shipped to Moscow I might have to wait for an available date. 

Visa approved today at the US Embassy in Manila. I am glad this part is over. It has been far more draining than I expected.

yes, i had to invoke my willpower not to call. Tali is always telling me things like it will happen when it is meant to be, so do not worry, all will be well. She keeps me sane.

Well, guess she was right then. Not sure why I was thinking they sent an email before that. Probably why only about half of people update their nvc received and case number assigned dates, they never even know when it actually happened cause they never call. 

If I was a closer NOA2 date I'd definitely be calling again today. I'm super excited for all you guys, awesome news. You guys will for sure be leaving on the March 5th shipment. 😁😁😁

I received my case number today but I had filled out DS160 like a week ago 😅 so today he finally submitted it and got his confirmation page. Now, we will pay the visa fee on Friday and, for Beirut, the system requires our case number to show Ready to be able to schedule any interview so our wait begins again lol

Yea they must have received a huge mail shipment today. Who knows, maybe January NOA2s are going to clear out faster than we thought 😁😁😁  

Just called the NVC and our case has been recieved!!! No case number yet, but hopefully in the next few days!!

You can.  And pay the $265 visa fee. Make sure you’re set with all your embassy requirements.  And rejoice 

Well, the past three shipments to Bangkok left at 4:09pm, 2:12pm, and 1:25pm on Wednesday.    Today, there were a bunch of people reporting In Transit in the morning.   So I'm holding out hope that they may get a few more of us on shipments, but that is pure conjecture on my part.

I guess now we wait for March 5th  They didn't ship ours 

We just got our case number. We called this morning and they didn't have it, called tonight and had it! I asked when it was assigned and she said Feb 6th .... It has been mailed to Dublin today.

NVC updated to in transit. I also received an email from them saying our app is being sent to the consulate.  What do we do next?

Got our case # on 2/1.  Hopefully, tomorrow will bring good news.  I’m concerned that the holiday may have an impact... but, maybe not 🤨

Nvc just emailed me saying they sent our case to Manila! So excited. Lol. The email they attached to it is the letter he brings to st. Luke's? I'm trying to attache a picture but I can't figure it out. 😂 But the letter does have mnl number and date, our names and it's saying it's being sent to Manila. 

Hi! We are in the same situation... We were waiting 35 days( NOA2 January 7th) just to find out that our case was sent back to the USCIS... Never asked why, but I am guessing it was a stamp 😕
On January 31 case returned to USCIS
On February 13 case was approved and few days later we got new NOA2 letter...
The worst is we lost 5 weeks for someones mistake and now we are waiting over again...

OK, so getting a little late in the day, so broke down and called NVC for information on our case and the mailing.  She gave me the in processing response that I anticipated, and I asked if she could tell whether or not I'd make this week's mailing.  Deer in headlights.......had no clue what I was talking about.  I mentioned that the NVC updated cases to "In Transit" send them to the embassy every other week and today was the day.   "I've never heard that before, and I work here.  They are sent electronically as soon as we finish them. ".   😂     Ok, so now based on that response, I'm not sure we can believe anything else that she is guessing for me, but I asked what are the hours for the people working on processing applications.   She responded 6:30am to midnight.  Also asked if the shorted call center hours also applied to the processing group.  She said "no".    The last two Bangkok shipments departed NVC on Wednesday afternoon, so hopefully those of us assigned case numbers late in the cycle still have a shot.
