Thank you so much this testimony,  you just rekindled my faith cos I already lost faith in this processing. I am march 1 noa1. I believe my approval will come soon.

lol, why no faith? You are still within the normal processing time (5-7 months). @Oluwasegun was 100 days away from a 1 year wait.

Can't base your approval on others getting approved who may have the same NOA1 date. Some take longer than others. Some get lucky and get approval right at the 6 month mark or sooner. Others not so much. But either way gotta stay busy and faithful.

Hi everyone! I’ve been a silent lurker and my NOA1 is March 26 so still got waiting to do. I have a question about when my fiancée is going to be able to work in the States. Does it really take 6 months to a year?? Does that mean her greencard won’t be in our hands for that long? I mean I don’t mind if she doesn’t work but she minds.

After filing for Adjustment of status I believe green card in hand can take up to 2 years. Don't quote me but I remember reading that somewhere. It's still a waiting game ... The 6 months to s year sounds about right. Of course depends on how backed up the processing time is.

It's not all clear once your get the K1. There is still a lot of paper work and waiting. But look on the bright side at least you'll be together while waiting.

Congrats!!! That is our same date. Just that we are march 21 on new site and 16 on old site. I am wondering if they going in order of country by Month. Because the case number approval is not in order.

No, no specific order. It's random. Some cases get lucky and get approved ahead of others...there are still Dec, Jan and Feb filers who have not received approvals.

Hello, guys! I've been a lurker since January but now I'd like to share something with you. I've been complaining to my fiance nonstop since last month because of the wait and I always tell him that I think it's unfair because he wasn't stressing out as much as I did (I'm the beneficiary). You see, I already resigned and was unemployed since August 28. He would only tell me, "Just wait. It will come."

Last Sunday, I went to church and the message was all about faith in waiting. Just like the Chinese Bamboo Tree. Once you plant it, you would only see a bamboo shoot in a year and it stays that way for 5 years. But the bamboo farmers don't complain because it will eventually grow at a rate of 90 feet in six weeks. You see, its roots grow underground in those first 5 years. We just can't see it yet. And beginning that Sunday, I was calm and happier. I didn't check VJ as much and I only prayed and kept myself busy.

And voila, just this morning here in the PH, my fiance got a text from USCIS (around 9pm NY time) that an action has been taken on our case. I was shaking as I checked the old site. And OMG! WE JUST GOT APPROVED! 13 has always been lucky to me. No update on the new site, though.

    NOA1 (old site): February 28

    NOA1 (new site): March 3

    NOA2: September 13

So for those who are still waiting, hang in there. We won't realize the value of the blessing if there was no waiting. All this waiting makes us stronger as a couple. We just have to look at the bigger picture. I just can't wait until I get to hug my love!

CONGRATS! Yes, the blessings are coming.....

    Hello guys! Please advise:)

My fiancé called the USCIS  today. They said that did background check and everything is in the process. How long do you think this process can take ?

Noa1 old site: 28 of February

            new site:  3 of March

Not sure.. Normal estimated processing time is 5-7 months for approval. There are still cases from Jan that did not get approved yet... Sit tight....

I already stated here that we were approved (thank you god, universe, USCIS- who and whatever!)

bur I just wanted to let interested parties know that I was approved sept 12th new site and sept 14th old site.

Not sure if anyone cares about that but we seem to be caring 🤷🏻‍♀️🤠

Haha! I know I don't care. Once we get the approval (NOA 2). Scrap the old vs new site. One less thing to worry about. On to the next obstacle, no turning back to the one you just passed. 🤷‍♂️

  7. BananaButton5 haha Stay busy....the more you think about it the more it will make you anxious. There are actually still people from Jan and Feb who have not received their NOA2. There are also people not on VJ that are getting approvals They'll come....hang in there.

Maeph The USCIS staff to application submissions ratio is exactly 1 to 1.
