"Hello" reacted to Greenbaum in US Visa Interview with a 221G Administrative Processing Result
Based on the discussions I had with the case officer he informed me of these steps:
the first AP is the immigration unit doing the paperwork for approving the visa
the first ready is a notice that they are finished and the paperwork is being sent for visa issuance
the second AP is the visa issuance people doing their own paperwork
the second ready is that the visa has been issued and is currently being processed for delivery
Then "issue" is posted and the visa has left the BIG house to YOUR house.
Once you get that second ready, it should be sent out within a few days, although we received our visa before any of the various websites that allow you to look up the status said that it had been sent out. Your mileage may vary.

"Hello" reacted to Ryan H in How do I add my husband to my bank account?
Instead of getting hung up on a joint bank account (which you're not required to have anyway); focus instead on evidence (it's evidence your collecting, not proof) of time spent together in-person. This is your strongest evidence.

"Hello" reacted to Apple Bee in How do I add my husband to my bank account?
I would like to know as well. When I called my credit card company about adding my husband as an authorized user on my card they said he would have to appear at my credit Union (my credit card was issued through them) in person and sign something. Obviously impossible right now....

"Hello" got a reaction from Apple Bee in How do I add my husband to my bank account?
I need to prove bona fide marriage. How can I add my husband to my bank account without him in the country?

I have read them all and done the ones I could. However I see many people have added a spouse to the bank account and was wondering how they did it?

"Hello" reacted to Ahmed&Freda in NoIR
Our case was reaffirmed in under two weeks after they received our rebuttal. It took a few months to get to the embassy from USCIS through NVC then it sat at the embassy before we were given information about an interview. We had our Interview on October 23rd and was placed in AP in addition my husband was sent a questionnaire we are now waiting.

"Hello" reacted to Ayman taha in Administrative processing after interview US embassy in Cairo
Hello everyone and salam
as some of you may know, I am married to an American citizen, applied in Feb. 2016 and it was smooth until I got my interview scheduled in Jan. 2017 then I have been on AP since then
I got a call from the embassy about a month and a half ago asking me to send them new medical exam, new police certificate, my passport and resubmit the ds-260 online after they reopened it for me
i did that then once they received it they sent an email asking me to schedule an email, it was confusing because it was one of their molded emails like the thing u wud get from NVC so I emailed them and they said it is for retaking the oath (I guess it is since I resubmitted the ds-260) I scheduled it and attended last Sunday and the African American small cheerful man told me congratulations and that I will have my passport via aramex in two weeks after making me swear that the data is correct
got one update that day and another yesterday but nothing serious
i hope this gives you some hope prayers for everyone including myself
hang on there

do you guys recommend the US spouse attend the interview with the Egyptian spouse? Were there any benefits or cons to doing so vs. not doing so?

"Hello" reacted to Prystine in Case sent back to USCIS
The Part I highlighted in RED is the issue. They found that he did not prove to have a bonafide marriage with you for the CR1/IR1. What proof did you guys provide of your marriage and how he answered the questions at the interview are key for this. This is a high fraud embassy you are going through so you have to be extra diligent with all your documentation and proof.

They're married not engaged and their CR1 visa was denied at the consulate stage!

"Hello" reacted to Nody in Case sent back to USCIS
I'm sorry to hear that!
It happend to me, but K-1 visa.. my interview was in June 2017 in Cairo, I was on AP for 2 months then they sent my case back to the USCIS , they told us 180 days too but after 4 months my fiance "husband now" got a letter that our petition was expired and we can either refile for the I-129 or get married and file the I-130.
But I had red flags in my interview. They never told us the reason of the denial but we thought about the red flags in my interview..
Did he have any red flags in his interview ?
Hope to hear from the USCIS soon inshAllah..

15 months in AP here ... the interview was fine and quick .. they did not even ask for any documents
we have just 1 year difference
and yes indeed very bad times .. el7amdulellah for all .. but we are trying to enjoy our life together through it ... if you can then don’t let them steal this time of your life .. don’t hang or suspend your life waiting for their decision
btw do you get any status updates away from when your senator contacts them?

There's only 2 yrs between my husband and I and we've been AP for 22 months. 😔.. I personally don't think it's a factor.

It's hard for him to move to Cairo. He visited me 8 times since December 2016. Alhamdulillah that we could spend that time together, but still so hard to be away from your beloved one!

"Hello" got a reaction from MrAhmed in Administrative processing after interview US embassy in Cairo
I canceled the appointment I had on the 27th. It was pointless, I will call NVC when I get back in the states to find out if they received our file back from the Embassy or if they have forward our file on to USCIS. The Embassy wont respond to my emails any longer.
We've been super busy on our end trying to get documents in place to prove bona fide marriage while I am here in Egypt. I did get a 1 year resident stamp in my passport and my husbands friend works at his bank and we went through the process to add me, wont know for sure until tomorrow I think. Need to make sure the Bank Statement prints with both our names on it. We've got a few days left before I leave so we want to make it memorable.
Truly wishing everyone all the best!

"Hello" got a reaction from Ahmed & Farrah in Administrative processing after interview US embassy in Cairo
Yes it is me from that Group on FB.
I was able to make an Appointment on that site for March 27th. We will still go to this appointment and hopefully we can discuss our case. At least it shows them I am here in Egypt, my 4th time now with my husband and fighting for our case to remain in Egypt.
Should we take some more evidence with us? Any suggestions? This trip I am here for 1.5 months. We spent 1 week in Alexandria going to several touristy spots. Took lots of photos. We rented my husbands friends apartment. We can get statement from him and also a statement from his boss to take leave for this week from the office.
I sent an email yesterday but they have not responded and no case status update as well.
We are determined!! Insha'Allah we will be approved in the end.
Shukran
