The old website lets you search any case. So just increase or decrease your case number in the URL after you search by 1. Ugh. Hate this waiting game with a passion. Two more weeks before we're "outside normal processing time." 😭 

Question, obviously we haven't been approved yet. But I'm visiting my fiancé in a week and a half. My question is can I go ahead and take everything he'd need for the interview? How "pre-dated" is allowed for it to be valid? I.e., if I bring a dated original letter of continued support of the letter, a letter from my employer with my income et al (I work remote and happened to be at headquarters this week so had my HR guy give me one so it's dated for this week), I-134, etc. Does it matter if they are dated before the NOA2 if it's within reason? Of course, if it happens that we are not approved for a long time, heaven forbid!, I'll mail new records or bring them if I happen to visit again. Our NOA1 is march 7th on the old site, 9th on new site.

I couldn't help calling a week or so ago. The lady was nice but obviously reading from a script. I chickened out asking for tier2. I've tried to not be anxious this week seeing approvals but y'all know it's hard 🙂

I called USCIS today and they told me my case was accepted on September 14th. 
No update on either site or text. I should be recieving my hard copy notice this week.

Why the late night and weekend notifications?

Haha. True. Makes me wonder though what is being automated. Are the late evening approvals from the agent checking a box saying all is good pending background check then the service they use for the background check sends back a thumbs up so the system automatically sends the alert. Is there some other automated processes that auto send RFEs. Or is it they are so backed up they have a queue of backlogged notifications (I have a hard time believing this one). Anyway, not important. Just peeks my curiosity. 

Likely to prevent the flood of calls that notifications during business hours would cause.  😂

I’m really sorry to read that. At least you have progress and can correct the issue and hopefully see an approval within a couple weeks!
 
I don’t understand USCIS hours. Do they work weekends? 

We plan to put him on my work provided health insurance after we’re married. Unfortunately, can’t really move forward till we’re married. Since all our family would have to fly in for the wedding, we’re actually planning a “court house” marriage just to be able to do file for an AOS and get him health insurance ASAP. We’ve decided we can’t plan a wedding and stall on that all that for months. So we’ll get married to file for all that then have a wedding/celebration first part of next year so our families can plan for travel.

Yes, we are hoping they didn’t just come up with this unchecked box thing after waiting 441 days for a response...and of course the timing is interesting since we had filed a lawsuit 6 weeks before 🤔 I send the RFE back so more waiting and we’ll hopefully be approved finally

Maybe that makes the VJ March community a smaller percentage of overall filers and thus we aren't seeing as much for the VJ community itself?

Finally! Im sure this was the reason why I couldnt sleep last night lol.

I've actually braced myself for an RFE over this. My fiance and I met through a relatively new gay dating app called Surge and I did not include their TOS to prove they are not an IMB. I did mention it was a mobile dating app but I've read mixed RFE results of people who met through dating apps.

My fiancé saw an email saying that action was taken on our case and yes, we're approved! So excited and can't wait for the hard copy to come in the mail...

I've read some mixed things about unchecked boxes on various reports. One guy said they got their NOA1 in July 2017 and had to get their congresswoman and sue to get USCIS to finally give them a decision. Two weeks later, he got an RFE for not checking some box. Stupid. My guess is USCIS was just looking for anything at that point. But a couple other people had unchecked or unfilled boxes too that didn't have such dramatic cases. They were mostly "I didn't think I had to fill this in because I checked NO to the question above." I left a bunch of lines blank to questions under "if you answered yes to...then..." instead of putting NA or something. I hope they don't give me a hard time on that. If they do, I'll be quite aggravated as I don't remember reading that as a suggestion/requirement anywhere in all the guides I read. 🙄I guess time will tell!

Whoops. I left my case open in browser with auto-refresh on for two days. Seems USCIS didn't like that. I'm logged in but still get the error. Time for a VPN! Guess, I need to increase my refresh rate to something more than 30 seconds. LOL. I'm being a little over the top it seems. 🤪
