Why they jump to 17th Nov. this is so annoying.
And does this really mean they are staring on Nov or is it just a random touch again?

November has been so weird from the beginning with those random 11/16 approvals...

False. Someone with a November 1 submitted date received an approval but not received date which is the date we go by here as well as the date we go by in scans . Attention to detail 😀
we are close through! Hopefully today

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I just ran a FULL scan, and there has not been a single update since the scan I ran on Friday, which included only 3 updates in that previous week even, and none of them were approvals. The last approval I have for a November case occurred on 3/30, yes March 30th. Since then only 4 cases have been finalized. 2 were withdrawals and 2 were denials from that weird 11/16 date that saw some strange movement.
I can only conclude that they HAVE NOT started on November cases yet.
It could be that the few posts mentioned they were approved are seeing a 11/1 Submitted Date, but they really have a 10/31 or other October RECEIVED date. The scans use the "old" website data, which use the RECEIVED date, the date your application was received by USCIS. The "new" website uses SUBMITTED data, which has generally been 1-4 days later.
It's also possible updates aren't being made and will be applied retroactively in a few days.
Nevertheless, I'll keep checking every day! Hang in there guys!

Thanks for sharing your experience @Naes. ❤️
We were thinking get married in Croatia. He’s also a Croatian citizen. Malaysia changed their law for the people with the word ‘Muslim’ on their ID card, they can now ask a letter stating that we’re single from commissioner of oath, not needing us to go through the processes like before but the only thing is our marriage won’t be recognised in Malaysia which I don’t mind at all since we’re not going to live here in Malaysia.
The reason why he’s thinking about withdrawal is almost the same as @Sarac9, I’m all alone here in Malaysia. It’s worse when my depression and anxiety are kicking back in. I gotta go and see the doctors again, was admitted to the emergency ward more than 4 times in the last two months and my doctor keeps on persuading me to voluntarily stay in the phsychiatric ward now. I’m really sad because I was recovering before, I don’t even need to take the medicine anymore but now the doctor is starting to give me the medicine again. Being far apart from my fiancé is making it harder too. My worriness does stop there, it’s disturbing me in my sleep too with some kind of weird dreams that will keep awake from the rest of the night. I’m starting to look like a walking dead now. 😭
Sometimes I wish I got the strength like all others that have been waiting since previous months. I’m really thankful for my calming fiancé, he’s been keeping me calm every single time I’m starting to have an episode of breakdown. And not to forget all of you guys here on Visa Journey. I really wish all of us will get through this process and be with the one person we love the most. As for me and Ivan, we’re not gonna let the religions and the immigration rules to stop us from being together. Nothing could fight love, love will win. Love always win. ❤️

Me and my fiancé got a draft ready for withdrawal now. I was recovering from depression before, getting better but this process has drained me. We can’t get married back in my home country and right when we thought US is gonna unite us, it’s actually making things harder.

Tomorrow is Monday for me and I get so frustrated because I know it’s only Sunday in America. No work to be done on Sunday in USCIS land..
Getting increasingly irritable with all this waiting too.. feel a bit sorry for my fiancé because I’ve been so bitter lately :-/ oops

CaseyCobos reacted to Mark2222 in New Zealand Police Certificate
Hi All,
This is my first post but I thank everyone who has provided information on their experiences to make the visa process easier on this site. I wanted to share my mistake / unknown factor which may help those who have lived in New Zealand in the past and are applying at a US Consulate other than Auckland.
My fiancee and I filed for K1 visa in 2017 and I recently attended my interview in Sydney, Australia after the very long wait and thinking I had all my paperwork sorted out a long time ago. All of my documentation was correct and accepted except my New Zealand Police Certificate. I'm from New Zealand but live in the Australia hence I required a police certificate from there and why I was interviewed in Sydney. My Australian and UK certificates were fine following the standard instructions but my NZ one which I applied for through the ministry of justice wasn't accepted. There is a different process I wasn't aware of and nor was the ministry of justice as far as I can tell. I called to ask them originally and questioned whether this was the correct process which they didn't say it wasn't and I requested the certificate for a US Visa and they failed to mention anything.
Anyway, this was my mistake, which I'd like others to avoid. What you need to do to get a valid and accepted NZ police certificate or vetting certificate is wait until you have a case number from the consulate you will interview at. Once you have that you can apply for your NZ police certificate at the following website:
http://www.police.govt.nz/advice/businesses-and-organisations/vetting/vetting-process-visas
Fill out the Section 14 form and send it to here: vetting@police.govt.nz
If you email the US Consulate in Auckland it is all explained in their automated reply email (I emailed them to check I was following the correct procedure that the Sydney Consulate had outlined to me). The Q and A reply says the following:
Q: How can I get a New Zealand police clearance?
A: To obtain a New Zealand Police clearance certificate for U.S. Immigration, the applicant can download and sign a Section 14 ‘overseas’ form available on the New Zealand Police Vetting Service website, http://www.police.govt.nz/advice/businesses-and-organisations/vetting/vetting-process-visas. When you complete the form, please indicate that the criminal record is being requested for the United States of America and reference the three-letter ten-digit case number (e.g. ACK followed by 10 numbers for Auckland) or A#. The postal address is U.S. Consulate General, Immigrant Visa Section, Private Bag 92022, Auckland, New Zealand. The requestor should email the completed request form to the Police Vetting Service at vetting@police.govt.nz<mailto:vetting@police.govt.nz>
COURT RECORD for any conviction in New Zealand you must obtain the court record from the actual court where the conviction occurred, NOT the Ministry of Justice central office.
NOTE: the Clean Slate Act proviso does NOT apply to U.S. immigration law for persons wishing to travel to the United States.
This is great for those interviewing in Auckland as I'm sure they provide this information but I was a bit blindsided. Luckily this process is quick. I have been told the NZ police process these every Friday and send the reports out to the Auckland consulate who will then forward it to your consulate based on the case number you provide.
You cannot handle or bring this certificate to your interviewing consulate. You must have it sent to the Auckland consulate and they will forward it to your consulate. You will likely never see this piece of paper.
I hope that this helps someone in the future who didn't see this like I did.

We're all anticipating that there will be a start for November filers next week. We; however, dare not expect anything when at the mercy of the system for adjudication.
I am confident November filers will see some movement next week!!!

Again, those November 16th cases were not normal. They never should have been touched in Feb when they were. Lucky few, but not normal and not something that has happened in any month before and since.

I'm having a bad-bad-not-good day today. Thought I'd cheer myself up and try to think logically by looking at some numbers. Here they are for you as well:
All data courtesy of @Naes and @Daniel P , who are the real MVPs of this forum IMO. Hope I didn't make any mistakes gathering these.
October processing started on March 27th, that means they've been working on our cases for 30 days today. During that time they've approved 878 October cases and touched another 559 cases that we know of (add a bunch of silent NOA2s and those only updated on the new site). As a comparison, September started February 26th, and they had 857 approvals after 30 days. Another 465 September cases have been approved since. Also a great reminder: the month of August had a global mean of 189.33 days from Received to Approval date, with a standard deviation of 6.47 days. This number is from February, it doesn't reflect the August approvals that have come in later so that skews the data a little towards the positive side. Something to keep in mind. Would be nice to run these again perhaps Daniel, curious to see what has changed. At any rate, I'm interpreting this as USCIS is moving along at a steady pace and that I shouldn't be losing my head yet at 185 days. 😬

I have sent over my baby boy ( fat little pug ) to the state in September as we thought the latest I would be in US Feb. NO !
often I wanna give up, I'm trying to be as positive as I could, but the longer I have to wait with this process, the more I have second thought, the more I got cold feet. don't get me wrong, I love this dude and been with him for over 5years.
the question if US is the right place for me to be has been haunting my head lately, about me give up my career so he can continue his career...
Oh God I wish I had someone that could read my head and thoughts...

My and my fiancé thought K1 would only be 5 months max.. thought it would be the faster road to us being together.
Like yours, mine is very patient with me. I nag and complain all the time. Within reason of course, but I’m literally just sitting in limbo here (I’m the beneficiary) I have no home, I got rid of all my things, I sent my cat over.. I just feel stuck right now. Can’t wait for this to be over.
