     I received my K1 Visa a couple of weeks ago, exactly 365 days after NOA1. I’ll be a flying to California next week, can’t wait! 

    How are all the others doing? Anyone still waiting? Please share your wedding pictures! 💕

I was so down for a while about this process and then getting the noid for documents I inclosed in my original package was a lot on me. But the 1 year anniversary from when I lost almost everything in Harvey my fiancé was approved so it is a light at the end of this dark tunnel!     Hello guys! So my case is ready at the Ciudad Juárez consulate but the next available date for interview is october 19 and my NOA2 is good until October 12. Do you guys know if it renews itself automatically or do I have to go through a specific process? Thank you? 🙏🏼

    Our case has been at the NVC since July 2nd, and still no movement. Definitely a bummer, but I'm still hopeful ours will be in transit this week (with any luck). :( :clock:

    Yeah, mine is July 2 and it’s going to Ciudad Juárez in Mexico. I feel your frustration. I don’t even want to call because they just give answers that mean nothing. Lets just keep our fingers crossed 🤞🏼 Good luck to you!

    Last year when they denied you the entry had you already applied for K1 visa?

    Also , did they atamp your passport when they denied you entry?

    I got denied entry in July and we didn´t start the K1 process until October. They didn´t stamp my passport but they did mark and canceled my Visa with a black Sharpie, so every time I would use my passport there was that awful reminder of that horrible day;  thank God I just got a new passport. I just believe that at this point in the process it´s not really worth risking the K1 visa as I´m not sure if a denied entry at this point could affect your process.

    Hi @A_R ! I just wanted to tell you my experience... About I year ago I was denied entry into the US because I had been visiting my Fiance several times that year. This hasn't been a problem for my K1 Visa application so far, but there´s an extensive record of it and it´s something I wouldn´t anyone to go through. They detained me for over 7 hours, no water, no food, nothing. They treated me as a criminal and they made all this paperwork which I have to take with me to the K1 Visa interview and then they proceeded to cancel my B1/B2 Visa. That record shows everywhere, even if I would try to enter the US with my French passport it would show. So please be careful, I know that being far away is complicated and distance sucks but if you´re so close to obtaining you K1 it might not be worth going through such a bad experience. On the other hand, there´s also a chance that none of this may happen, unfortunately it all depends on the officer´s criteria; I just had bad luck that day as I´ve had multiple visas during my life, even a student one and I´ve entered the US for vacations and business meetings, etc several times and never had any issues.     Hi guys! So we got approved on June 13th, but so far we haven´t received NOA2 by mail. Are we going to need the hard copy for the interview? Should we request it? Our file is at NVC already and I´m afraid that if we start an inquiry the might send our file back to USCIS. Do you guys have any advice?  

     

    So how´s everyone else doing? For those who are still waiting for approval, I´m rooting for you! God bless us all!

    That's strange! Maybe they get extra days off or something? I called around 9:30 CST today and got through, but was hold for about 25 min. :clock:

    Thank you @wakeuplittlesuzy I was finally able to go through! It took about 30 min to reach someone and they as well have received our file today!!! 👏🏼 One step closer! NOA2 June 13

    For anyone wondering, our NOA2 date was June 14th, so it took about 18 days for our case to arrive at the NVC. Hopefully that information will be helpful! I don't know if it gives us much insight into how long it's generally taking these days, but that was our experience, anyway!

    I’m trying to call NVC but I get a recording that says they’re closed 😩 WTH! All pf this is soooo frustrating 🤦🏻‍♀️
