I had my interview in Amsterdam yesterday and I got approved!!
I can't wait for my passport to be returned, I will be moving asap. 

Yaaaaay, I got an e-mail today that I can schedule my appointment! Waiting for the payment to go through....

Yess!!! As a reply to my e-mail the Embassy has send back my Package 3. Does anyone know what the Casenumber is to be filled out on the Checklist? Is it the confirmation number? (AA....) or the NVC number? (AMS...)

We spoke to Max today too (probably the same Max!) same information he told us  we also have the same NOA2 date - I'm hoping we have a case # in the next few days

I'd also like to add that "with trump in office" is such a well-used sentence in the immigration world to kind of scare where no scare is needed (as of right now). Trump can't do anything to certain rules, the USCIS is not government funded.

I personally don't think a lawyer is needed when gaining American citizenship. I won't be using one, seen enough people successfully keep their Dutch nationality as long as you keep renewing your passport in time. Since 2014, they don't register if you have a double nationality anymore or what you nationality you gained.

I doubt that. I've seen people contacting NVC after 7-8 days and getting their #.
