I keep looking at the Google sheet and hoping somehow that by doing that, my phone will magically ding with an update on my case.  I'm living vicariously through others who are getting their notifications.  LOL

End of February, seeing more movement on the January thread, looking forward to us all getting our NOA's soon!

I used paper binder clips and rubber bands.   Make it simple.

I'd say that a wee bit long. My mom entered 11/11/18. I called the local SSA office at the 3 week mark, got the same answer you did ( it's at least 4-6 weeks, it's the holiday, so may be even longer). So sometimes on the 4th week, we went to the local SSA office. They were able to tell her that her SSN was just issue like the day before, and they told her what the number was. The physical card came in the mail few days later. We got everything before 12/10 because I was able to apply for her health insurance through healthcare.gov before 12/15 when it closed.
 
I'd say you guys need to make a trip to the local SSA office.
 
The DS-260 works most of the time. But there have been reports that cases fell through the crack and need to apply again at the local SSA office. Don't ask me why.

CC on 9/25. Still no interview date set. On the 31st of this month, it will be a year since our last hug.

There’s so many of us in the same boat. @emil2888 his interview will be in Belgrade, Serbia. As far as I have seen on VJ, after case complete the interview is scheduled fairly quickly, and typically a month out. I don’t know why ours is taking longer. I hope you get your interview scheduled soon, it’s nice to know we share the same CC date. @Derik-Lina Thank you. We submit our case 12/01/2017. The wait is long, and it’s so hard. My heart really aches for him. You’re right though, we are close and I’ll keep my head high. I hope you get your case complete and interview date soon.

True. Without love none of us would endure these endless bureaucratic obstacles. 
I feel married couple must have a priority over K1 or B1 or anything else. The process
must be faster and fair. Family comes first and love always wins.
