Congrats! How did you find out about the wrong consulate? I've read that the first 3 letters is the consulate acronym, mine says "CDJ" I'm assuming that's "Ciudad Juarez"...

Yours will be just right, When I rang, the officer gave me the number and mentioned that my case will be forwarded to Sydney. So my case number is SYD at the moment. Lol

To have your immigrant/fiancée visa file transferred from one Embassy to another U.S. Embassy/Consulate, please contact the appropriate U.S. Embassy/Consulate directly in the country where you wish to apply and follow their instructions for case transfer. Please click here for the full list of all U.S. Embassies and Consulates overseas.

The old Embassy will need to receive a formal file transfer request from that U.S. Embassy/Consulate in the country where you wish to apply. Upon receipt of this request, they will immediately forward the file for the New Embassy to process.

Once you contact your New Embassy you then can discuss the transfer of your fee. Be sure to have your payment receipt available. Since you haven't paid a fee just ignore that part.

Thanks @Greenbaum .... will do that. Really appreciate all you do mate.

@Greenbaum Hi,I was approved ON NOV 20th and received the paper as well.I have been trying to check my case status on https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx but i am getting the message 'your search did not return any data'.Could it mean that my case has not yet been received by NVC?Kindly advice?

They may have received, perhaps it’s just that they haven’t assigned the case number yet, NVC has revived my case but I get the same message. I think the USCIS number doesn’t work on there should be the NVC number instead.

25 days already, no case number yet. :(

Keep calling every 2 days. You still have a shot to make it happen, and if not, there will be TONS of birthdays ahead!

My fiance wanted me to visit last year for NYE (it's also our anniversary), I applied for a tourist visa last november and got denied, we filed I129F on feb and got approval in Nov 2 (way out of regular times). So it won't happen this NYEs either.

But I do have all my hopes in NYEs 2019 😂😂

Lol, hav eying tried your luck calling NVC yet ?

I-134 is only for the interview. You can use the same one if the information hasn't changed. There are some embassies who require a "wet signature" and others who will except a scanned copy. Your embassy will except both; wet and scanned.

Aww awesome thanks a lot. So will just make it easy, he’ll send everything via email that is required. thag should be fine isn’t it ?

  6. Hey guys so this is what I got from NVC, So it says within 8 weeks now.😐

    Dear Sir/Madam:

We recently received your visa petition. We will send NVC processing instructions within 8 weeks. Please resubmit your inquiry if you have not received any information after 8 weeks.

  7. So I’m confused between these two

Checklist of Required Initial Evidence (for informational purposes only)

    • A signed statement from an officer of the bank or other financial institution that states when you opened an account, the total amount deposited for the past year, and the present balance of such account
    • A signed statement from your employer on business letterhead that states the date and nature of your employment, salary paid, and whether the position is temporary or permanent
    • A copy of your last income federal tax return filed, or a report of commercial rating concern (if self-employed)
    • A list containing the serial numbers and denominations of bonds and names of the owners (if applicable)

    on https://www.uscis.gov/i-134 here.

     Supporting Evidence
As the sponsor, you must show you have sufficient income or financial resources to assure that the foreign national you are sponsoring will not become a public charge while in the United States.
Evidence should consist of copies of any of the documents listed below that apply to your situation.
Failure to provide evidence of sufficient income or financial resources may result in the denial of the foreign national’s application for a visa or his or her removal from the United States.
Submit in duplicate evidence of income and resources, as appropriate:

    A. Statement from an officer of the bank or other financial institutions with deposits, identifying the following details regarding the account:
    (1) Date account opened;
    (2) Total amount deposited for the past year; and (3) Present balance.

    B. Statement(s) from your employer on business stationery showing: (1) Date and nature of employment;
    (2) Salary paid; and
    (3) Whether the position is temporary or permanent.

    C. If self-employed:
    (1) Copy of last income tax return filed; or (2) Report of commercial rating concern.
    D. List containing serial numbers and denominations of bonds and name of record owner(s).

on i-134instr.pdf?download=1   My question is should it be signed statement or not ?

  8. Also, is it best for me to get all the required docs from him now before the NVC sends the case number to the embassy? so then I’m well organised then or do I need to wait to receive something else with instructions of the required documents?

And they require the originals isn’t it for the divorce certificate, tax returns etc etc?

What method do ya’ll use to receive documents (overseas) if it were originals? How long does it take to get them ?

  9. Hey guys, so just a question about the below two statements, as a beneficiary if I put in my bank statement including my fiancé’s showing that I am also able to support myself in whatever the situation arises, will that have to be signed from an officer of the bank too with the date I opened the account?

During the visa interview, applicants will be required to present evidence to the consular officer that they will not become a public charge in the United States. You may present evidence that you are able to financially support yourself or that your U.S. citizen fiancé(e) is able to provide support. The Consular Officer may request that a Form I-134, Affidavit of Support be submitted by the U.S. citizen fiancé(e).

A signed statement from an officer of the bank or other financial institution that states when you opened an account, the total amount deposited for the past year, and the present balance of such account.
