You are absolutely fine!!! Make sure you send an updated letter of intent to marry, too. You sound like you've got it all figured out. We would have been so lost without the forum and the wisdom of those who have been through the process before us. If you have any questions, ask away!!! That link I sent you was a stinkin' God send. I used it for AoS, too.

He needed the I-134 for the interview and I-864 for AoS. He paid for his interview at BPI prior to medical. You are asking about the K1 process, right? or AoS? I don't want to tell you the wrong thing lol.

yes K1. I am on the NVC phase now. they just got it from USCIS. All the supporting documents, affidavit of support will be given in the time of the interview? I am just being difficult right now im sorry  :(

I am a little confused..? I never submitted anything to NVC. NVC forwarded our case to Manila and from there we proceeded with the process: medical and interview. We paid fees at BPI. I emailed my now hubby the affidavit or support, my financial records, and updated evidence of bondafide relationship.

The steps that you posted are generic, I believe.

Here is the step by step I used when doing the process. http://dennyeyberg.wixsite.com/filipino-am-visa

oh i see.. did you pay first? while waiting? when did your hubby needed the AOS, financial stuff? on the interview date?

I never received anything in the mail from NVC. Just an email, but we proceeding on with the process as soon as we received the MNL number.

    So you submitted everything online?

I saw this on the website

We will, in a few weeks. But that would put us on the May 2018 filers. Will keep a close watch of the April thread, though.

    @Martin3517

Call NVC 2 weeks after your NOA2 approval date. It took us 16 days to get the NVC case# or MCN. Your fiance can call them too. The process goes pretty quick after NOA2, for PH beneficiaries.

been 2 weeks. I called again hahaha. within 6 weeks still

    Martin,

In January it took 22 days for our approval to reach NVC.

When you call NVC in a couple of weeks you will hit option #1 & then #7 (if I recall correctly)

They will ask for the WAC#....

They will either responded..."we haven't received anything"

or ask for other information (names and birthdays)...when they ask for this identifying information you will know they have received the petition.

Now you can ask for the Case Number.

For here on....it is Country and embassy specific.  (every place is different)

The best info you will receive, from this point forward, is to find others ahead of you in your embassy to

understand the process and how you engage it.  The form of correspondence,  online registration and documentation (DS-160) process, exam & interview scheduling process, interview documentation requirements, police certificates, exam sites, fees, etc.

(use information from others -  not specific to your embassy process - carefully)

From here on - you are in control of much of the process to the interview...

Good Luck - you're over the hump......

    I'm happy for you.

I tried my luck hahha, still 6 weeks is their answer
