Just recieved an update that they scheduled an interview for my husband's case! October 11th was our NOA1. We live in NH I dont know what the time line for interviews but we will see with the paperwork. So real question, how come the work permit and travel card still say case recieved. Does that take a couple of days more?

Had my interview today in Boston. Everything went pretty smoothly, outside of the insannnnnnne amount of people DT for the Pats Parade. 
Our interviewer was great and he made things pretty stress free. The questions ranged from basic parents names etc all the way to our carpet color (which was funny).
 
 
He said baring anything else showing up on the back end, we should be approved no problem. I checked our case status just now and it looks like it's already updated: 
 

We have flown several times this year and it was no problem at all flying domestic with passport. I had all our documents (letters and copies ) just in case--but it was very simple. 

So my husband and I called the USCIS  to check our case plus ask how much longer. We are at the 100 day mark just to see what they would say lol, 4 -6months . We are expecting our first baby in June. I really hope they move that work permit along faster for him. He wants to work so bad to provide for our growing family. So fingers crossed!

Got my 2yrs green card yay it was expected to be delivered tomorrow but i got it today 😊😊

Definitely nice to see some familiar names here, sent mine out last week and it was signed for yesterday... hopefully hear back something soon?

Wait he can get a SSN NUMBER ONCE HE GETS HERE?! Or is it after you get your green card?

Sorry for being so quiet guys, since POE, it's just been all things wedding! POE in Dallas was super easy, especially doing POE on a Sunday! 

I tried going for the SSN 2 days later, thought I'd chance my luck but I94 hadn't registered yet, so I will be going tomorrow morning which should be the 10th working day! 

But now stateside and all things wedding are going well, 16 days until the big day, hope everyone else's journey is going well?

So guys just an update, after being approved at the Embassy last Wednesday. Collected my passport yesterday from the DX office in London. They sent me an email around 4pm on Thursday to say that. So I have my POE tomorrow!!! Thank you for all the support here and will continue to post about POE once I'm settled!

After 42 days at the NVC our case is finally In transit to the embassy. 42 days! yikes!

He is going to the GP the next day and having them fax his records to the embassy medical so they have it and will sign off on it before his interview.

No not yet but he should be getting hopefully by Friday or Monday.

She stated that she had the letter that the NVC sent once their packet had been sent to the Embassy and that is the exact same letter that comes through the post. 

It's the usual way for the London Embassy as far as I can see.

That exact email is the same letter I got through the post, so I actually have two copies of the same letter! 

I'll be honest, I wasn't too sure what MRV fee was so I just looked it up but our MRV fee for K Visas is just the $265 when you arrange the interview.
