Thank you but Correct me if I'm wrong. So you mean I can bring a screenshot taken from the ceac website showing my case being ready and my case number? And a statement letter will let you undergo the whole medical process?

How about you  @Dave_and_Jessa what did you bring during your medical? Were you able to have your NVC letter with or your appointment letter. I don't know what it's actually called

She had both the NVC letter and the appointment letter.  She was only planning on bringing the appointment letter, but we got the NVC email just a day or so before, so she brought both.

  2. I'm a mulitple filer also and I know there are others here as well.  It's best that your partner knows everything about your past; names of who you filed for in the past, what happened in the relationship, even dates of when petition(s) were filed.  Many have been asked these questions during interviews.  Many have also been asked nothing at all about it.  Depends on the embassy and the situation.

I know it's nothing you could do anything about, but I have been watching your progress since I joined the forums and you guys have gotten everything so much faster than us... I kind of hate you. haha. :P:P

Hahaha no offense taken!  I know how you feel; there were others before us that made me feel the same way!  You guys will get there soon, I'm sure.  At least it's not another 7 month wait...

    Thank you so much!

Who got the email? Beneficiary or petitioner coz I don't remember my fiance putting my email when we started the application. I'm the beneficiary btw😊

Petitioner (me) got it.  I believe there was an email contact option when you filed the petition, I believe that is information they use.  They may try to mail you the same letter but you know how sometimes the mail in the Philippines can be troublesome.

Really? They (USEM manila) don't send anything at all? I thought there's this packet 3 that would actually tell me what requirements areally needed.

So I don't have to wait for that and just start on everything. To know that it's ready all I need is to track my case on ceac.

And if possible do you have the list of all the requirements neede?

I'm really sorry I'm asking a lot of things . I just really need to make sure that everything goes well. And just really anxious.

Thank you so much for the help. I really appreciate this.😊😊😊

This site will tell you everything you need to know

USEM sent me an email about a week after they received the case, but there is no need to wait for them to contact you.  If you have your case number you can begin everything on your own.  Don't worry about asking questions, lots of people here to help.  No need to be anxious.  Good luck!

Wow lucky for them..well i just goy an email today from NVC.We got our case number . They said they will notify me once its forwarded to the US Embassy Manila..NO2 May 23....i wonder if we can start schedule for medical or interview..

You can pay the interview fee and then you will be able to schedule 12-24 hours later.  St. Lukes doesn't schedule medical exams, it's first come, first serve, you can go whenever you think you are ready.  It will take 2 days.  Make sure you have all the requirements as to not cause any delays.

Hi @Dave_and_Jessa I've been following all your updates on your application. Since you're ahead of me I would like to ask questions if it's OK.

We just called NVC and got our case number but our case is still at NVC. Am I allowed to do things already like appointment stuff even without the packet 3 yet? Please I need your help on what should I do next or can I do things ahead of time. Thanks for your help in advance. Btw, my consulate is Philippines as well.

USEM will not send any packets.  If you have your case number you can start everything.  Pay for the interview, schedule 12-24 hours later, submit your ds-160, do your medical exam.  There is no need to wait for anything from Manila.

We received our packet 3 today but I'm confused about this part it says "Chat logs from social media DO NOT PUT IN WORD DOCUMENT they must be printed directly from the site" How do you print whats app chats? I already made screen shots and put them in a word document but according to packet 3 thats not acceptable. Suggestions anyone? And people who have been approved in Nigeria did you print your whats app chats directly from the site?

For whatsapp I believe you can download a desktop version and might be able to print chats from there more easily than from the app itself.

I've sent you my opinion on this topic in PM.

But can please @Naes, @Greenbaum and some other gurus help as @Natalia_777 gets under Multiple Filer Waiver and I believe her RFE is for an additional information in order to approve request for the waiver. I'm still newbie here (even though I read a lot lol) and can't really help on this matter. Thanks ;)

I'm a multiple filer and I was never asked for so much evidence.  Seems like there is more to the story somewhere.  Perhaps they packet they sent was incomplete originally.  Multiple filer waiver is fairly straightforward.  This seems they want some extreme proof of relationship, which isn't usually necessary at this stage.  Something just seems off...

  10. Well, Jessa completed the first day of her medical today so we’ll find out later tonight if she’s clear or not.  It’s nerve wracking but the silver lining is that she needed a chest X-ray for her new job 7 months ago and everything was clear.  But she’s had a mild cold for the last few days which I guess could show up on the X-ray. We’ll see!  Sputum test would put us back 3-4 months but we’ll do whatever needs to get done.

Hello, case has been at the NVC for 17 days now.  Spoke to someone this morning and they told me it was undergoing administrative processing.  Is anyone else going through the same? What could constitute administrative processing? I thought it was the embassy who does the actual processing.

It's rare but NVC can also do AP.  I know of a case recently where they were in AP at NVC and after the interview also.  Typically it's not a long process, but it really varies.  I think most are out of NVC AP in 3-4 weeks, but it could always be longer or short, it just depends.  Nothing you can do at this point.

Hello guys, helping a friend. She's an October filer but doesn't have the approval yet. I'm telling her to call her fiancé's district Congressman for assistance. Does anybody have an idea who to call, her fiancé is from California. tyia

Honestly, I don't think calling Congress people has the same effect it did in the past.  Immigration under the current administration has become slower and more difficult on purpose.  They have also made it harder for anyone from Congress to help people who have issues with USCIS.  There's honestly very little evidence that they have anything to do with a case getting approved or looked at any faster.  Complicated cases waiting for 150 days get approved quickly, while some seemingly simple cases can wait for approval for 9 months.  There are just too many factors involved in this process.  I know the waiting sucks, but really there is not much else anyone can do but wait.  They touch everyone's case sooner or (sometimes much) later....

On the site information about the case
On the phone, they said that a request for additional evidence had been sent by mail.
No need to say. Wait for the letter.
This is very insulting and scary ... What other evidence is needed? last year we made this visa with the same documents, and everything was in order.
    Must wait ...

Many times they will ask you for something you already sent, happens a lot.  No need to stress.

Good day fellow November filers! Still waiting for our (nowhere to be found) NOA2 1f602.png😂1f602.png😂! Just a quick question...fiance is from Washington State. When we arrive in the US, would it be okay (for me) to stay for a week in SFO (with the fiance) and then drive to Washington State? Will there be an issue immigration wise? Thanks in advance for your inputs!

No issue at all.  Once you clear immigration at the airport you are free to go anywhere within the US you want.
