Sent our I-751 on February 15th, 2021, Received in Arizona Center on February 19th, just cashed our check today March 25th. Hoping for the NOA1 in the next week. Thank you to everyone who has put their received/cashes dates up- made me less paranoid that they lost our file. Sadly, they "misplaced" our green card for 6months so I'm now skeptical about each step of the process.

Yay! Congrats! Those dates are weird, wonder if they approve and send out in batches with different dates? 
 
Oh man, 8am is brutal, especially if you have a ways to drive in. So sorry! I am not a morning person, so I feel for you. Our interview is at 10am and we live just up the street. Luckily I've been saving a personal day off at work just in case I needed it. Good to know we should arrive early for security, thanks for that head's up! Keep me posted on how it goes and good luck! So happy this is almost done (for awhile...).

So great to see some movement in LA, I was dumb and didn't apply for advance parole with my work authorisation so I'm coming up to a year since I've been home. Ironic wanting my green card so that I can leave as soon as possible!  I hope you fellow LA dwellers are getting through the process as smoothly as you can.

Ha! Sorry, meant I live in Los Angeles city, near downtown, sorry for the confusion! Thanks for the medical info, I was worried we would need to do it before if I got the dates wrong. Glad to hear they will let us know at the interview. Fingers crossed. I will post once we've done the interview to let you know how it goes. I had to order another birth certificate as I sent my other one to Switzerland for registration there but other than that I think we have everything they asked for in the letter. Good luck and it's so nice to see others getting their dates as well. Love visa journey for its camaraderie!

I will follow the thread, sad to think it will take so long until the interview but good to know there are others going through it.  Guess LA is just TOO big, I was born and raised here and happy to be a Californian even if we have to wait awhile.

"case is ready to be scheduled for an interview"
 
at least the RFE stuff is out of our way! now let's see how long that'll take 😴

Received all hard copies in the mail today and biometrics scheduled for 8/29. Fingers crossed the employment and travel docs come through before December, were really hoping to go overseas at xmas  but it looks like the estimated date will be after that. Good luck to everyone! Good to know! thank you! We are marrying at the end of June due to my parents flying in for the wedding so we can wait 2 weeks no problem. I think we'll do that just in case.

Just wanted to post that my fiancé went for the medical and they made him go to another doctor to get his eyes checked (he wears glasses) and this put us back several days! Now we are just waiting around for his medical to get approved, after the eye doctor said he was fine, even though everything else is in order. It's really frustrating as we thought he would just go get the medical and then be able to forward the medical that day to get our interview. It's really ridiculous to have to go to another doctor for an eye check and they charged him $800 for a rudimentary, ridiculously outdated medical check (the doctor had him stand across the room and she whispered words he had to try to make out just to check his hearing, is this 1950? what kind of medical check is this?) I'm embarrassed he has to go through this just to marry me! The US embassies should seriously vet their doctors better in other countries. Frustrated to say the least.....but thought others might benefit from the experience. If you aren't 20/20 bring your eye prescriptions!

I received my NOA2 on March 29th, I called the NVC today and they still haven't received it sadly. Will call again on Monday/Tuesday to check again. Hoping for next week, fingers crossed!
